The food was nice, I ordered for chicken biriyani and it was prepared in an authentic fashion, no shortcuts in the name of trend or variety. Quantity is less for the price tag. I also ordered for 4 tandoori rotis that took longer for the second order. The quality is good and the experience. they have 5 big TVs with all different sports channels on at the same time, and hence there are several options to entertain yourself. its a nice place for singles, couples and family as well if you don’t mind the price tag. yes its expensive for what is offered. its a nice and easy accessible location from the highway and close to the Walmart.
its Recommended for ppl looking for a different dining experience while travelling.

Our boys LOVE Kalia! It’s their favorite treat. Now TBH we’ve only ever done takeout or delivery, but it’s always excellent and we’ve never had issues with our orders either! We’ve been ordering from them for at least 3 years now pretty regularly. They’re awesome – the lamb biryani is my go-to. Kids love butter chicken. Don’t overlook the cucumber salad for a refreshing treat!

This place is a gem. We went here on a whim to take my dad for Indian food while visiting, and Kalia Indian Cuisine was fantastic! I’ll admit, I was a little skeptical at first when we arrived—we were only the second guests there, and I wondered why it was so empty. But then I noticed a steady stream of pickup orders being fulfilled, which quickly put my concerns to rest. From the moment we sat down, the warm atmosphere made us feel welcome. You can tell the owner puts genuine care and energy into the quality of the food—every dish was flavorful and clearly made with fresh ingredients. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff took time to explain menu items and make recommendations. It reminded me of a quality, family-run business that makes you feel like part of the family while you’re there. We left satisfied and already planning our next visit. I can’t wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Wow, I had such a great experience here, the staff was so kind! I asked for spice level six vindaloo, let me tell you it was maybe the spiciest dish I’ve ever put in my mouth. They were kind enough to take my food back and give me something less spicy. To top it off they also gave us some rice pudding. Wow, I will definitely be coming back, but maybe this time I’ll ask for a spice level four. Thank you so much Kalia Indian Cuisine!

Indian is one of my favorite cuisines so I guess it’s safe to say I have tried a lot. Without a doubt, Kalia on Greenwood has become MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE PLACE FOR INDIAN CUISINE….so much that if we are in town, we go at least once a week! Yes, it’s that good! We have tried several dishes on the menu (and enjoyed them all) but we have discovered certain dishes that have become our favorites – Punjabi Vegetables Pakoras, Aloo Tiki, Chicken Mulligatawany (all 3 were the best I’ve had in Seattle) Tawa Chili, Special Tandoor, Saag Paneer (best I’ve had in Seattle) and one that’s not on the menu, Rogan Josh (they have made the best version of this I have tried)! I think you get the point. Beyond the wonderful flavors, this place succeeds where many restaurants don’t…consistency. We expect a certain standard here and they always deliver. Plus, if you like spicy, this is a place that is not afraid to go bold – if you want it. Almost as important as the food, is the friendly service by the family who owns and runs this place. We’ve gone there enough that they know what we want before we even have to say it, and we don’t just feel like friends when we are there, but we feel like family. This place has a comfortable, unpretentious atmosphere, and we have shared this place with several friends. Give this place a try, and we’re confident you’ll love it as much as we do.

Wow! The Lynnwood location REALLY impressed me! I called from Vancouver Canada to order food for my very sick family of 5 in Edmonds. The staff worked with me around food allergies and sensitivities and were incredibly kind. My family said it was the best Indian food they have had since moving to the area 5 years ago! They really appreciated it. Highly recommend.

Super, super solid indian place. Hard to find good Indian food in Seattle, and this is probably one of the better ones.

The butter paneer was our favorite. Naan a little too thick and not that fresh, but maybe just because we did take out.

Jalfreki also was delicious. Nice and sweet with a good curry kick.

Will definitely be back to try some more of the other curries. I will say they give way too much rice for how much curry there is.

We had an amazing time celebrating my friends birthday at Kalia. The hostess and shop owner, Sarbjik, were beyond attentive and made sure we all had a great time. The seasoning was 10/10 with every meal. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Traditionally Modern Food
We visited the restaurant in the evening so ordered snacks, sweet lassi, mango lassi, and coffee

Paneer pakoda and onion pakoda tasted so good but they were served without any sides. We asked them then they brought 3 sides. Not sure why it was not served at first.

Chana samosa was ok. They had tamarind chutney but Missed the sweet chutney flavor.

Sweet lassi and mango lassi tasted good. The portion size was too big. It was hard for an adult to finish it. They served mango lassi with ice cubes which we didn’t expect but when asked they replaced them immediately.

Ordered coffee but it was not Indian coffee. They served American-style coffee with cream. When we asked they replaced coffee with milk. It was ok
