Located in the old Broken Plate spot, this quaint restaurant is an example of making a copy of a copy. The original Broken Plate was delicious, and very food & atmosphere focused.
For the Seanna Tavern, the alfredo was a bowl of cream/milk that stayed in the bowl when you lifted the noodles. I must say, the shrimp in the alfredo was delicious.
The bar was nice, clean, and well organized. Very good draft beer options, and smoked, old fashions.
The J1 students that are servers and bartenders are very friendly, nice, and professional.

Honestly, we initially intended to dine at a different restaurant, but due to seating constraints, we stumbled upon this establishment. Fortunately, it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Our experience was simply amazing. We highly recommend trying the NY Strip Steak and the Chicken Parmigiano , as both dishes were bursting with flavor. Even the kids’ meal exceeded our expectations. Other members of our group opted for Rigatoni alla vodka, Scallops & Shrimp, and Gnocchi, and every dish was a delicious delight. The drinks complemented the meal perfectly, offering a tantalizing taste. Moreover, the staff members were exceptionally friendly, and the ambiance of the place was beautifully crafted.

Seanna Tavern delivered, hands down, the best breakfast experience of our island vacation. It truly felt like an elevated option compared to others we tried, showcasing quality and thoughtful preparation.
While they were unfortunately out of bacon and the specific liquor for their “signature” spritz during our visit, these minor hiccups were easily overshadowed by the deliciousness that followed. The Bellini (as seen in the image – a perfectly decadent drink) was absolutely divine and a wonderful start to the meal.
As expected with an Italian restaurant, gluten-free options were limited. However, what they did offer was fantastic. I had a side of scrambled eggs and sausage patties (due to the bacon being out). The scrambled eggs were a dream—light, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. The sausage patties were a standout, cooked like a “smash burger” with wonderfully sizzling edges and a tender, juicy inside.
My husband declared his biscuits and gravy the best he’s ever had. He raved about the light, fluffy, homemade-tasting biscuit paired with perfectly spiced sausage gravy that was notably neither gelatinous nor floury. The only minor letdown for him, aside from the initial unavailability of some items, was the breakfast potatoes, which he felt tasted like generic frozen potatoes, “nothing special.”
The restaurant itself is small but boasts a contemporary Italian feel, creating a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. Most importantly, the staff was attentive and consistently polite, adding to the overall positive experience.
Despite a couple of minor supply issues, Seanna Tavern impressed us immensely with its wonderful food, exquisite drinks (hello, Bellini!), and excellent staff. It’s a definite must-visit for a top-tier breakfast on the island.

I was very optimistic about this place with all the great reviews but was a bit disappointed. Our drinks and food orders were placed quickly but we weren’t offered any drink refills until we were finished with our meals. The food was ok. The lobster Benedict had good flavor but the poached eggs were hard boiled. The calamari was great. There was no salt or pepper on the table and the waitress didn’t return to our table until we were finished eating. I would try going to a different place.

We were a little disappointed. Our meals had great flavor but the crab spaghetti did not have large chunks of crab meat on top as the description on the menu described. Just a few fine pieces of crab meat mixed in. For the price of the meal we thought a salad and some bread should be included which wasn’t the case. The food had great flavor but way over priced for what you get in our opinion.
Update after your response…
WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO ASK FOR LARGE CLUMPS OF CRAB MEAT???? YOUR MENU DESCRIBED MY DISH AS HAVING LARGE CLUMPS OF CRAB MEAT AND IT DID NOT!!!!

Ate outside for dinner, mistake. Swarmed by flies. Service was not that good. Food really salty. Some of it was ok. Bad drinks, don’t know how to make a dirty martini. Thoroughly disappointed.

What a wonderful experience we had from the good prompt service to delicious food. Everything was cooked perfectly. My husband said it was the best chicken parm he has ever had. I had the Mahi and loved it. Highly recommend going here.
We also had the eggplant stack and arancini. Both perfect

Quaint restaurant conveniently located. Food was delicious from the fresh fish to the brick chicken. We highly recommend making a reservation and do t worry it’s upscale but family friendly. Best meal we had so far!

Came here for my wife’s 32nd birthday last night and the experience was amazing. The food was great but the staff and service even better. They really went above and beyond to make her birthday special and we were extremely pleased with our meal. Would definitely recommend!

For a small venue, they did accommodate our large group (14). We did call a few days in advance to make the reservation. Staff were friendly. Main dishes and appetizers are pricy and small portions. For what they are charging for a meal, it would be nice if bread and or salad would accompany the meal.
