I didn’t go in so I couldn’t see how the inside looked but it’s not a dine in spot. The steamed shrimp was delicious and I was glad it wasn’t peel and eat. Just de-tail and eat. Very simple to enjoy. I didn’t like the garlic butter as much. They should just ditch the garlic and I heard their cocktail sauce sucks so they should try and make the cocktail from scratch with ketchup and fresh horseradish. And they had no lemons which was a bummer. I forgot what else I ate from there but the food was pretty tasty and the shrimp are a really good size. I got the whole lb. And was super satisfied!

Editing my review as I decided to revisit after the failure of my first visit. This time, they did as I asked and didn’t add lemon pepper or crack seasoning to my shrimp as well as my salmon bites. Food was much improved as I could actually taste it instead of the flavor being hidden behind add on seasoning. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for some good seafood in the Jackson area

Probably the most authentic Southern Fried place in this area. Fresh and delicious. If you don’t know what to order, ask the staff and they will give you recommendations. They also sell ingredients and seasonings so you can make your own at home.

My family and I love the food. We have picked up dinner several times and it’s always hot and fresh! Recently I had placed an order at the Lansing location by accident, went to pick up food in Jackson that I’d thought would be ready but was not because it was at the wrong location. They were so quick to fix it for me and the food came out quick, delicious and fresh!

First time walking in the door today. So happy to smell fresh food cooking, well displayed and looked fresh.
Had to catch the attention of the young man behind the counter before he acknowledged me, but did take care of taking my order quickly and was quote friendly.
Had a 3pc fish and fries, all was freshly cooked hot and smelled fantastic. I do ask one thing, the fish has excellent flavor, please let it stand on its own merits and don’t drown it in the seasoning mix. Perhaps offer it on the side like you would for the tarter sauce for example. Although fresh and hot the seasoning was overpowering and overtook the freshness of the fish and the fries.
Perhaps ask the customer if they would like the seasoning before adding it, as some like myself are salt sensitive?
Fries were really good though with it, just wish there was less of it.
Take-aways:
1) Food is well cooked, fresh and frankly darn good
2) Staff was pleasantly accommodating for my smaller than normal order, offered sides and was quite friendly, thank you for that
3) Will I be back? Absolutely and I will ask for them to skip the seasoning or put it on the side and I can add it as I see fit.
By all means, give this local place a visit, they deserve our support to grow and be successful as the alternative fish place is way less than outstanding. These folks are doing things right.

I ordered a lot of different variety for dinner including mushrooms, crayfish, fish, chicken, and shrimp. The first time I was given someone else’s order and had to come back after getting home. The guy was super nice and said to keep the wrong order and replaced my order. Got home unpacked the food and realized they forgot the crayfish, and gave us catfish nuggets instead of shrimp. Went back for a 3rd time and got the crayfish but not the shrimp. I gave up going back a 4th time. Super friendly guy trying to do his best to make it right but after eating the food I paid $80 for finally.. it ended up soggy because of having to go back so many times. Probably won’t be coming back just because it was more of a hassle than it was worth. 10 out of 10 for service though!

I stopped in yesterday and I was late picking up my shrimp(work stuff). I was just going to grab my food and leave, but the manager suggested that he could drop me some fresh shrimp in the fryer for me. I really appreciated that because everything was on point! I will be back.

Frequent here often as a door dasher. Witness countless times when staff offers free drinks,sides, desert to customers. Several times they have surprised me with a free meal. Professional staff who are genuinely happy and enjoy their job. Treats the patrons and community with respect. Clean facility and oh yeah the food is smacking. Juicy Chicken wings seasoned well and French fries with great flavor. Always enjoy my time coming here

This is a take out only restaurant. No seating inside. They have a very large menu and fair prices. What I like most is the fresh fish in the case that you can choose from. I had the wings and ocean perch, FF and fried okra. The okra is top notch. Everything was cooked well. You can have everything flavored as well. I also loved the kool-aid. Definitely recommend.
