I didn’t know they do reservations it was our 30Th anniversary we wanted to sit by the Fire place. The lady that sit us was pleasant but didn’t let us sit there. Once I shared with my Waitress she made it happen. A young sweet girl. We tipped her good she gave the best service. Made our anniversary beautiful and the food was great. I love this place.

The owner of the business was very nasty attitude. The owner had told me to go to another restaurant disrespectfully talking loud in front of customers. Tell me why I waiting 25 minutes for my food wasn’t his problem and stuff. I said if I’m in your restaurant and ordering food I’m waiting on for you to cook the food. The fish was all Tore up catfish fillet and the Alaskan fillet was tore up ? Only fish was presentable was the flounder fillet .He had a very nasty attitude The owner was very rude also. A another manager came out, He saw him talking like that. He couldn’t believe he’s shaking his head why is he treating the customer like this? He said the food was tore and tried to be served and he said there’s no way that you would serve Somebody this.

We’ve eaten at Seagull’s Grill three times in the past couple of months. Each time was very good. The staff are kind and attentive. The portions are generous. I love the flounder grilled and my wife likes it fried. The complimentary hush puppies are great. The fried oysters were good too.

The places atmosphere reminded me of my grandma’s kitchen. Everyone liked to hang out there, grandkids drawings taped to the fridge. My Salmon dish was good, my husband’s seafood plate was not so good. The scallops were rubbery. He also ordered Cabernet, but it was cold. Apparently they do not get wine request often, so they had it in the fridge. The staff was super friendly and even offered to exchange my husband’s plate for something else, but we are just not that kind of people. It was disappointing that it was sub-par, as we thought that the sea food was part of their specialty. Anyway, decent enough to go grab something to eat.

First time to eat at this restaurant in Lancaster. The fried catfish was very good. My husband enjoyed his gyro. Restaurant is old, but clean. I enjoyed the staff and service. Portions are impressive, Our waitress Emily advised us that the fried clams and shrimp servings were very large. We were concerned, because we saw huge plates of food. Free hot hush puppies while we waited. Too full for dessert. Good value for those on a budget.

Absolute horrible experience! 1st, when we first ordered, the customer service was horrific. The lady taking the order was cutting my mother off. There are things that have supposedly changed from the last time we ordered which was like a MONTH ago. She didn’t know the answers and just was given half answers. We asked for an estimate price which is always given, she failed to do so until I said “If you can’t, give me the manager.” She then said an estimate price & didn’t give us a wait time or name for the order, until my mother asked. When my mother proceeded, to give her that information. She hung up immediately. Hours later, my father had gotten his seafood boil from there… When he gets ready to heat his seafood boil up, he notices there are French fries in the bottom of his boil & no muscles that usually are in the boil. He has ALWAYS gotten this boil & never has he had French fries in the boil. Today, my mother and father go to the restaurant to ask for a redo of the boil. The ignorant and rude manager yelled at my mother and told both of them to get out of his establishment. To not give a whole new seafood boil that hasn’t been eaten out of or refunded almost $40-$50 for one item, that my father gets every-time we eat there is unacceptable!!! I’ve always heard people tell us and seen reviews for myself to not eat there. For instance, the owner has been called out by racial profiling & being racist in general. It’s not a good look. I’ve tried to continue anyways because I’ve never experienced it myself… And I NEVER do reviews. Even if the food was delicious at a restaurant, I never do online reviews. i will just tell people the place was great and try it out… But this restaurant, needs a new adjustment!!! INCLUDING STAFF giving professionalism & customer service 24/7 & a manager/ owner that knows how to be our customers that is keeping his establishment open first!!

My husband and I shared a huge platter of fried catfish, flounder, and calabash shrimp. Had a nice cup of clam chowder and free hush puppies while waiting on the main dish. Catfish wasn’t fresh but the lady did take it off our bill. The other fish was ok, just a tad too crispy for my husband. The waitress Allie(?) was sweet and patient with us.

The restaurant decor is a little dated but their food was excellent. The shrimp and scallops were fresh and deep fried to perfection. The hush puppies, fries, and baked potato were just as good. The price of dinner was more than fair. We’ll be returning for dinner again soon.
