The best seafood in Petal! Absolutely love the batter here and the service is always quick. They also have bubble tea! And my FAVORITE fried okra!! Great prices and plenty of food! They also have family packs that are perfect for a night in after a long day.

First visit to Petes. I ordered the 3 piece chicken wing special and an order of fried green tomatoes. They gave me a couple of items to try, fried okra and a couple of the Chicago mild sauce wings. All of it was delicious! The customer service was phenomenal. I can’t lie, I was a little taken aback because you rarely have good food and service at the same time. I’m the problem, not Petes’. The care they give guarantees them a repeat customer. Salute to Petes ! I will be returning tomorrow or the day after to try something else and will give you an update. Until then, give them a try, you can thank me later !

Possibly the worst fish I’ve ever paid for. Got the 5 piece fish. It was fried so hard. The pieces were tiny. Like they cut a single filet Into 3 or 4 pieces. My disappointment was immeasurable and my day was ruined. It’s 3am and I’m still thinking about how awful that fish was.
The cole slaw was good, except one of the two containers was really soupy. I didn’t mind as I combined both containers together, but it was a lot of liquid. That’s why it’s 2 stars vs 1 star.
I probably won’t be back. They knew what that fish was like when they cooked it and they still chose to serve it. Speaks volumes.

I was lol-level disappointed with this lunch plate. I was only person in there and they had just dropped the okra…why did it still come out lukewarm in the middle and not seasoned at all? Bun on the poboy was thick and cold. The filets were very thin…sigh, and it was a splurge.
I might give it another chance but strictly for the boba or jellies. They were also very nice.

I love the food here. Everything is made fresh, and it all tastes great. I love the bubble teas here. There’s a variety of flavors that are all hand made. In my opinion they’re better then any other bubble teas you can get in the area.
