First time. Got the Neptune sandwich. So good! I’ll be back to try others… Plenty of mouth-watering options to choose from. Menu isn’t overwhelming, which I like.

Stopped here with a friend for some R&R before heading into multi-day meetings. Sooo good.
Here’s what I loved:
– sandwiches were top-notch (I ordered The Sailor)
– all sandos are made to order in an easily viewable spot – no “back kitchen” here.
– location – walkable (5 min or so) to Seabright beach (which made the amazing food even more so. No sacrificing quality because “people will pay anyway” due to their location).
– decent selection of local beers and hard kombuchas
What I would change if I could:
– add a canned cider or wine to the drink case!

Everything about this place was great! My boyfriend had mentioned it popped up recently when we he was looking for good sandwich spots and he had totally forgotten about it until today when we were looking for them again. And I’m SO glad he remembered! I have no idea, having been to Santa Cruz an umpteen number of times, how we never knew this pace existed but we will absolutely be back! I got The Neptune and he got The Yacht Club and easily both were two of the best sandwiches we’ve had! The meat wasn’t lacking, the fresh produce was actually fresh (some of the freshest basil I’ve ever had on mine), all the spreads (check the menu for the different kinds) were delicious, and you can never go wrong with cheese! But what we also loved was the bread (Francese roll), it was crunchy on the outside and ridiculously soft on the outside so it perfectly held the sandwich together but wasn’t too hard to eat! I know I’ll dream about these sandwiches and can’t wait to go back!

The cove {a brisket sandwich with jalapeno slaw} and a hazy beer.
This cozy joint makes great sandwiches and has coolers full of fun, soft drinks and a nice case of excellent canned beer. Good selection of chips. Fantastic local spot.

4.1/5 for the seabright sandwich. The sandwich was pretty good but considering Im paying $20 for a sandwich, I would hope I would get more pastrami on the sandwich. Flavor wise, I have no complaints but wish they added more meat.

Unique options. Big portions. Clam chowder was amazing along with the banana pudding. The best I’ve had. The Cove sandwich was very good. Good amount of sauce and so many amazing flavors. Service was quick and friendly.

When you need a quick bite and beer or sandwich for the beach – this is “D” place. Quality sandwiches and great selection of beers and cold beers. Need to come back to try Taco Tuesdays

Seabright Deli is the perfect place to stop for a delicious sandwich by the beach!! We grabbed 2 sandwiches which were LOADED with toppings and tasted so fresh and delicious. We were a bit disappointed with the chef who was making one of our sandwiches though because when they were making it they put on the wrong sauce, so they attempted to wipe it off and then lathered the correct sauce on top. This made the sandwich a bit too wet and the flavour was off but still great sandwiches overall. Highly recommend anything with pastrami because it was super tender and flavourful. We’ll be back to try more of their sandwiches in the future!

We love this place. It’s remains to be on our top 5 fav restaurants.
Having tried most of their sandwiches, we settled on our favorite sandwich, The Grotto.
This sandwich is not dull or singular tasting. This sandwich has 4 layers of flavors. There’s a charred taste from the blackened snapper fillet, the freshness of lime from the cabbage & jalapeño coleslaw, the creaminess from the basil & tarragon aioli, and the bitterness from the arugula. This sandwich is an edible masterpiece.

Arguably 2 of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had. We got the Giant Dipper and Neptune. Very flavorful.
