I love birria and was excited to try this place. was a disappointment. i ordered the birria quesadilla with a side of lime sauce and a topo chico water. its was just over 20bucks. i took the first bite of the quesadilla and noticed I didn’t have any meat , and I opened it up and as you can see half of the quesadilla didn’t have any meat on it at all , just cheese and the other half had enough meat to fill a taco. extremely disappointing. The lady running the counter was very nice, though. So that was the only perk.

I ordered to go and was missing multiple items. This place is definitely not worth it at all for the price. I ordered nachos which are $8.50 and got served a toddlers portion. This is a snack at best. The birria was so dry it was inedible. I ordered everything on the side and yet the 11 chips they gave me were soggy. And how is this nachos if you forget the cheese?!?!?! I wish they would’ve remember my consume I ordered on the side so I could at least try to eat it. I’m very dissatisfied and would not recommend this place at all.

I had a terrible experience at this establishment. Shortly after eating the corn, we began coughing and felt it was a genuine health risk. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, they were completely dismissive. The front-of-house staff, specifically a woman named Ruth, was incredibly rude and seemed more interested in her personal business than addressing a serious safety concern. Management needs to prioritize health standards and provide immediate customer service training. Avoid this place for your own safety.”

Great service, terrible food. We got chicken nachos and birria tacos. I can’t understand why, for a dine in order, my nachos came jammed in a tiny to go box with the lid closed so they were soggy before they even reached the table. It was made worse by sitting in a puddle of the most watery queso I have ever seen. Literally the exact same consistency as water, I couldn’t even find cheese flavor in it. The guac was exactly the same quality as the pre made stuff that is mass produced in a factory, filled with preservatives and sold through grocery stores. Personally we didn’t care for the birria sauce, it was a little too spicy and very vinegary. Atmosphere wise it was really bright and absolutely freezing. The only bright spot was the two hard working and friendly ladies at the counter. We were excited to try this new spot but left wishing we had our forty dollars back to spend on food that isn’t gross.

Hopefully my situation isn’t that common, but apparently I had ordered in the middle of a shift swap, which meant I had to wait 40+ minutes to get my order. I know it’s not the staff’s fault, but management should be doing a better job scheduling so that it doesn’t take nearly an hour to get food when there only four people waiting for food.
With that in mind, I was very disappointed when I got my food: the street tacos didn’t stand out, the favor was as basic as basic can be. They weren’t bad, but in no way worth $15. The rice and beans were even more disappointing. The rice was undercooked and hard, and the beans tasted off.
The only nice thing was the actual food hall due to the atmosphere, but it was freezing cold as an obvious way to try and get you out the door.

My buddy and I stopped in for tacos. I asked the lady working up front what she would recommend. I told her I wanted tacos, so she recommended the house Birria tacos. The order comes with 5 tacos and I was worried because the other places I’ve had tacos at, 5 tacos is ALLOT of food. These tacos are much smaller though. 5 was a perfect amount. For the two of us, two orders of tacos, and two drinks, with tax and tip came in just under $50.00. Unfortunately that’s the time we live in. Stuff is just expensive everywhere. The service was very friendly and fast. I would recommend checking this place out. Especially if you have picky diners because there’s a burger joint and a chicken place in the same building. The layout is more like a food-court vs a stand alone restaurant. Definitely recommend checking them out.

I was really excited to try this food in Katy since I’m from the Conroe area. And it was actually not that good I had the Birria tacos (5). I tried Birria a few times but not too much but I was excited to try these and it was a disappointment. I’ve tired better Birria tacos than those. Plus, with all the other great food spots in Katy I could’ve spent my money to try something better.

The birria was very bland by itself. The quesabirria tacos were mostly cheese and the birria fries were almost hard.
The cheese sauce and chipotle aioli were pretty good.
The order screen still asks if you want to leave a tip which is pretty wild. No one took our order…it was just a screen.

Ruth was helpful and very nice to help me as a first timer to this wonderful restaurant! Ordered the most popular birria tacos (5 of them is a normal order- smaller tortillas) which sounded like whoaaaaa that’s way too much, but they were so good!!! Really good consommé for dipping, just enough lime in the green sauce for a bit more flavor and the chipotle for an extra kick if needed. Huge wedge of lime on the side. Great quick service and fresh food. Would recommend and i’ll be back!
