All of their food did not disappoint! Good, flavorful and plenty of it. Best crab cakes I’ve ever had. We took the suggestion to try the crab dip and it was a meal in itself! If you have the lucky chance to live close to hear it’s worth it!

We were recommended this nice spot after brunch at the new stadium club in new Bern and when I say EVERYTHING was AMAZING I mean everything was sooooo good from the service to the drinks to the food. I’m very particular about my food but chef Patrick did his thing in the kitchen 100/10 will definitely be going back only bad thing was I paid for a crab cake that the server HIGHLY suggested but I never received and didn’t even notice until after we had already went back to the room but all the food we had was More than enough to satisfy my palate I was just looking forward to tasting it. I’ll definitely be going back specifically for the crab cake and those seafood loaded fries

Our first and last time for starters, the food was awesome home point my husband and I were the only one there’s eating the lady that I guess runs the place in the little guy that was taking our order they were watching TV which was over our heads and as I said, nobody else in there, my husband and I couldn’t have a conversation we felt like we were being stared at as they’re staring at us. I don’t get any water you have to ask for that. Also my husband got the appetizer for about 10 and 12 oysters for $18. OK that’s good. I wanted shrimp and flounder. The plate was 27 that’s good and it come with two sides well the guy that we took our orders after my husband and he said what two sides do you want so we named two, which was okra and slaw then he looked at me and wanted my two sides. I’m looking at the menu. A baked potato is under sides not premium sides to the side. It says three dollar up charge full loaded. I said no I just want sour cream butter. They charge me four dollars for a damn baked potato I guess because my husband really Was not to get sides we ended up with three when I ask about the bill the lady just kinda rolled her eyes and rumbled something about this house rung up in the computer. I said that’s OK. My husband said something to them about being felt like we were being stared at as she Smiled and roll her eyes and that’s why we won’t never go back definitely not because of the food and I did leave a tip, but I took away four dollars for my baked potato

We waited over an hour and only received one drink refill about 40 minutes in. There was no update on the delay, even though our order was simple. Several tables who arrived after us were served before we were. We were only checked on once the entire time.
After an hour, we were told they were just beginning to prepare our food. At that point, we were also informed that one of the items we ordered was no longer available. We decided to leave.
As we walked out, we were told three times, with noticeable attitude, “Bye, have a good one.”
We went to Beartown even though their kitchen was about to close, and they made it happen. We were eating within 25 minutes.
The food at this restaurant smelled great, but unfortunately, we’ll never know how it tasted. We won’t be returning.

I don’t know how this place has less than 5 stars. Some of the best food I’ve had in New Bern and stellar service. All the portions were big and not a single bad thing was had at our table. Came with a party of 6 and had chicken pasta, grilled flounder w/hushpuppies, potatoes, and greens; steak tacos; 2 boils; fried okra; kids chicken and fries. Everyone loved their meal and we all passed the sides around to share.

I 10/10 recommend! The food was fried to perfection. I did add a little salt & pepper but other than that it was seasoned well. The service was great. I will definitely return when I am in the area again!

I went here with my family and we LOVED it! The food was piping hot and it came out in a timely manner. The owner even came and checked on us, which is appreciated. The food had nice hints of citrus. Definitely a repeat customer.

So this is a hidden gem, and we found it by mistake. We wondered in after forgoing the NC Sea Food Festival. Oh my goodness, we had wings, seafood, and their famous stuffed seafood stuffed potato. AMAZING!! The owner is also the chef, and he has a secret sauce he tossed his wings in oh we tried to get him to tell us lol. The waitress, his sister, was wonderful funny attentive and you could tell they were all invested in making sure everyone had an enjoyable time. Three full meals, Appetizer which we ate before pictures lol drinks yes the have a full bar. Price definitely worth it and can’t wait to go back.
