My husband and I love to go for fish and chips every now and then, we thought we would give Sea Shanty a shot as we herd good things, and they where right!! The fish was delicious! The breading wasn’t too greasy or thick it was perfect! The fish was cooked to perfection! We also had fries and wings both were delicious! Definitely recommend giving this place a shot!

Bought the 5 dollar chicken fingers and fries for lunch. Can’t neat 5 bucks for a meal. The fries were great! The chicken was just typical frozen breaded chicken figers you can get at a grocery store, nothing special. Bits it’s the cost that counts! So I cannot complian.

It’s currently Lent, and after fasting all day, I went to night time Mass. After leaving mass I was starving, but because I abstained from red meat and poultry, by night time there weren’t many options. Driving by Sea Shanty, seeing the open sign on, I decided to stop by.
Despite closing 8:30pm (I arrived at 8:24pm) the owners (I presume) were extremely welcoming, bringing me in like family, and even allowed me to sit in and eat at a table after hours with no pressure to leave.
Their smiles, warmth plus amazing food (Best Fish & Chips I’ve had, even compared to some top rated places I ‘ve been to in the UK) is something I will never forget. Sea Shanty just earned a new loyal customer and I’m glad there are still great humble restaurants like Sea Shanty.

The food was excellent, light batter, flaky fish , all cooked to perfection including the huge scallops and lage shrimp. I am a foodie and very picky . The atmosphere was inviting, cozy, nicely decorated and clean .The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I did pu ( we sat at bar while we waited) for 3 picky eaters and all of us were extremely delighted at how scrumptious the food was. The prices are affordable. A must for everyone to try and I know definitely on my repeat places to eat.

absolutely fantastic fish and chips! The fish was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and flaky on the inside—and the batter was light and not greasy at all. The fries were golden, the tartare sauce was freshly made and delicious. Portions were generous, service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Definately deserves 10 stars. Best fish & chips ever! Decided to order while waiting for an area rug I was washing at the laundromat next door and do happy that I did. The fish cooked perfectly. The chips could have been a little crisper but I will definitely be ordering from them again. The owner was so pleasant, and added bonus. Thank you Sea Shanty 🙂

Had the haddock and chips and was quite impressed. The fish was lightly battered, almost reminded me of tempura, and was flaky, moist, and flavourful. Fries were cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and tender inside. Service was excellent. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accommodating. This is easily my new go-to fish and chips spot

What a hidden gem! It’s so hard to find a place in Burlington with a Seniors menu open after 3:00pm. The piece of fish was the perfect size, there was more halibut than breading and the fries were fantastic. The coffee was amazing too. The staff were sweet and attentive and the owner gave special attention to my special lunch partner. I am very particular where I take my clients for their outings. It’s important for a place to be friendly, clean, have comfortable seating, fresh food and a Seniors menu. If the manager gives me any sort of a vibe that they may treat my senior lunch partner like a “Karen” or embarrass them if they have a problem they’re not senior friendly in my eyes. And the bathroom can’t be downstairs. This place checks all the boxes. And it’s next to a British Bakery for goodie shopping after. Thank you for giving us such a special day. She hasn’t stopped talking about you.
