This is the best restaurant we have eaten at in all of the Netherlands. Beautiful food, fantastic chefs and wonderful staff. This is a culinary experience. We arrived without reservations and were seated at the bar next to the till. It turned out wonderfully. Front row seat to all the kitchen action and still chatting with the staff. They were all so wonderful to us.

Great service as the staff and friendly and also knowledgeable about the oysters. Was very happy to finally find a place that sells Irish oysters here in Utrecht. Also tried the sardines which were great and the warm bread they serve was amazing. Looking forward to coming here again to try more things on their menu!
Update: tried their menu and I am in love!!! Be sure to ask for the catch of the day. But we really enjoyed the scallops and the lobster. Wine bottles are on the pricier side (€40 per bottle) but really worth coming for a celebration.

We had the turbot, oysters, razor clams, and ceviche—all incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! While the portion sizes were a bit smaller than expected, the quality made up for it.

What we liked was the ceviche it really tastes great with the oil/lemon…the small cucumber and the crispy potato does give it some boost to the dish. The squid was okay ish it kinda tasted a bit bland in my opinion but still nice to try with the fresh fries

The tuna steak was awesome!! It definitely hits the spot it was fresh and with the sour cucumber wow I couldn’t stop eating. The main dish we shared was Dorade which very nice with the lemon and butter mixed together watch out for fish bones but in overall big chunks of fish meat which is good
Do make a reservation on popular days on Thursdays and weekend because this place can get packed quickly. All in all I can recommend this place to anyone that likes seafood in general! Prices are reasonable as well. Enjoy it with some white wine or white beer

Sea Salt Saloon has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the city. The oysters and tuna tartare were outstanding, and everything else we ordered was genuinely delicious. Sitting on the terrace with a view of the Dom Tower made the experience even more special. Highly recommended.
