Horrible Experience – Believe the Reviews
I should’ve trusted my instincts and turned around the moment we walked in and saw the hostess asleep at the front. That set the tone for what turned out to be one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.
The shrimp came drowning in oil and were tiny definitely not worth the price. The mashed potatoes tasted like pure lard. Not sure how you mess up curry shrimp and mash, but somehow they did. The salad was old, brown, and clearly not fresh.
When I mentioned the salad to the server, she handed me an empty plate so I could remove it myself. No apology, no replacement, no professionalism—just zero etiquette. There were no clear policies, and it felt like they were just winging it.
Even the fritters were overly greasy. For the prices they’re charging, this food and service are completely unacceptable.
The restaurant has potential, but not with the current service and definitely not with the lack of fresh food. This place needs a serious chef and staff overhaul.
Save your time and money, go elsewhere. Believe the reviews.

We got there and had to seat ourselves, no one came over to us to give us a menu or take our order we had to wait until a waitress was serving the table behind us before we got recognised , we had to wait 1 hour for apps ( bbq &spicy wings respectively) the wings tasted & smelled like it was not on the refrigerator and was about to spoil, 30 minutes later we got our main course (grilled lobster) and we had to wait 10-15 minutes for the sides (mashed potatoes , wedges and fries ). The main course itself was overcooked the fries were dry as hell threatening to choke me the wedges were too oily and the mashed potatoes tasted like it had lasco in it. The only highlight were the drinks we got the Long Island iced tea and mai tai they were mixed well and strong just as expected no complaints there. The ice cream wasn’t even one whole scoop and the flavours choices were basic (cherry chocolate chip And hot fudge).Overall it was not a good experience even with the good drinks. The food was good but the service didn’t make any sense. I ordered an escovitch fish and rice and peas because they didn’t have any festival. The fish came out with no rice and peas. The rice and peas didn’t come out till after I was finished eating the fish. This was the same for everyone who ordered.
Food was good but basic plating was surely lacking. It also took almost an hour and a half to get our food. We were a party of 14 but we were also the only table in the entire restaurant.

I finally had the chance to visit Sea Deck and try the wings that I’ve heard so much about. Alongside the wings, I also indulged in their lobster tails, accompanied by fries and vegetables. Simply put, this meal was outstanding. The wings were crispy & full of flavour, and the portion of lobster I was offered was bigger than expected. I couldn’t dig into this meal quickly enough. From the first bite to the last, everything tasted like heaven. While the sides were satisfying, the lobster and wings undeniably stole the show, as intended. I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t been to Sea Deck to give it a try, and I certainly plan to return!

Firstly, the location of this restaurant is awesome but the food is not a reflection of the location; simply it’s not good.
I was dissatisfied with the service from the workers.
I ordered Curry Conch and Bammy. The Conch was super spicy till I couldn’t taste the flavors and season. The fried bammy had no taste. No spice, no likkle seasoning, nothing. It was bad.
Overall the venue was was great and the staff and the food was poor.

Been here twice because it was so good the first time I had to go again. The fish soup was awesome and those wings….mouthwatering! Both the meals and the service surpassed expectations. Already planning another trip there. Oh they also offer meat-kind if you are not feeling for seafood. Portions are very generous and you don’t have to break the bank for it.

The meals are consistently delectable.The wait can be extended as there seem to be not enough waiting staff to adequately serve customers.Great for family get togethers and group gatherings even including children. Crab and crayfish soup are a must as are the grilled and garlic lobster. You won’t be disappointed!
Updating….So took our Dad here for Father’s Day 2022 and man did we have a good time! Our Server Mikhail was excellent; knowledgeable on the dishes Conch & Saltfish platter, Cray fish soup BarBQ Wings, Curry Steam Fish, Shrimp pasta, Brown Stew Fish, choice of beverages (Mud Slide sell off ), polite and accommodating. The wait as anticipated was a bit lengthy however the tasty meals made up for the delay. We are never disappointed with Sea Deck which remains one of our Family’s favorite restaurants. Check them out if you haven’t already done so and thank me later

The atmosphere was good that’s the most I can say. The place was empty and we had to wait almost 3 hours to get the food. There were eight of us and out of the eight, five of us ordered wings and we still had to wait that long. I made an order for pineapple chicken and had to step outside for a bit…it was a case where the waitress came back to say “there is no chicken breast” so I was told by one of my peers. I thought it was a case where they were out of that part of chicken and would do it with some other part. So I waited patiently, the server was very RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL then after serving EVERYONE ELSE and pleased herself she came to ask if I wanted to order something else. I wouldn’t have known that there is “NO PINEAPPLE CHICKEN” if she only said there is “NO BREAST” and the attitude was through the roof. I’ve always wanted to visit this restaurant and to my surprise it was rather distasteful! Please get better workers who understand good customer service!

They have great combo specials that offer you value for your money.
I have had 2 bad encounters with items from the menu ,not being so fresh but the manager handled the situation well. I Hope they maintain their standard as this is the greatest downfall of many restaurants in Kingston.
Parking is usually adequate.

Good customer and the Shellfish special was great and affordable. For $2600+, I got wings as appetizer, Curried Shrimp with mashed potatoes and a serving of ice cream. I wanted lobster but the season had ended. Great deal nonetheless
