Fabulous ambiance and great views for the golf course. Kind and attentive service, typical waiting time for a restaurant in a club. They gracefully provided a etch and sketch toy to my kids that ended being a novelty for the day. Sandwiches are sized as medium portion, well done, quality ingredients. Easy parking, ADA accessible.

We had great food! This was our first time and went for my birthday. The whitefish was excellent. My wife had the noodles dish with chicken and thought it was delicious. Although we did not take them up on a complimentary dessert for my birthday, they did provide a coupon for a future visit! We already made plans to come back!

Went here as guests for a wedding reception – perfect setting for an event like this! Very spacious and good setup for focus on the main table and center dance floor. The waiting team were fantastic and attentive and the food was very good quality.

Busy on a Friday evening, when they were having a comedy show later in the evening. We were seated at the bar because all the tables were reserved for later. Service was prompt and pleasant. Started with calamari- came out crisp and hot, with good texture. The “charred tomato aoli” that it was served with, though, had very little flavor- tasted more like mayo mixed with ketchup.
On the recommendation of my server, I ordered the lamb. I subbed out roasted carrots. The positive- tender meat. The downside- very little flavor to it. I took almost all of it home, to be cooked as a curry the next day for spice and flavor.
My dining partner had the pub special- sirloin with mashed potatoes and grilled broccoli. Broccoli was very heavy on soy sauce, and the remainder had little flavor.
The restaurant was hopping by the time we were done, and it was hard to hear each other speak. Service was quick.

Service was mediocre. Ribs were the special. Ordered the “Michigan cherry sauce”. It was so hot I couldn’t eat it. Everyone at the table tasted and agreed. Got a 25% off coupon for my next visit when I complained. Doesn’t do me any good, I won’t be going back!

I had wanted to try to Gastropub for a year or so – mainly for the view of Muskegon Lake – and we finally stopped in today (lunch on a Saturday). Unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience. The deck was closed for a wedding. We did have a nice view of the golf course. There was a party of 20 who ordered right before we did, and our waiter let us know, but we waited nearly an hour for a chicken club and chicken wrap. Maybe it’s because I was getting hangry, but it really did me in when people who showed up 15 minutes after we did got their food 10 minutes before we did. The food was okay for the price. I’m not sure we’ll go back. Maybe for a beer and the view…it’s unfortunate because I live local (and we have our boat nearby) and was hoping for better.
