Traditional, upscale French restaurant housed in a miniature castle with romantic, old-world decor.

Service was bad. Took over 20 min to get a waiter after being seated. Beware if you have an infant they are not shy about letting you know they are not welcomed and be prepared to be seated away from the main dining area. Food was sub par for the price. I expected way more of a refined presentation. A night of dining for this price range would have been better at the Americana

My girlfriend and I have eaten three times at Le Petit Chateau and loved it each and every time. The service is great – The servers are warm and friendly, and take the time to answer your questions. The food is fantastic – We eat out a lot, and though I wouldn’t call us foodies by any stretch (I could care less which farm “sourced” my meat so long as it’s tasty), I don’t think I’ve ever had a better cassoulet. And the prices are quite reasonable, especially for the quality of food you get.
Plus, the place looks like a little castle. Just for that, it gets five stars!

You’ve got to temper your expectations from other restaurants in similar price ranges when you come here. The French dining experience is relaxed, designed to let you savor the meal and enjoy conversation. Each time I’ve come here, I’ve been able to do exactly that. Superb food, excellent wine selection, and a really nice intimate atmosphere.

Limited Street Parking, 4-car lot.
The atmosphere was lovely and we were able to be seated with no reservation as the restaurant was not busy. The owner greeted us at the bar as well. Our server was a disarming mix of cheery and condescending and the quality of service was just OK.
The cocktails were absolutely amazing, but I found the food to be… just acceptable. I found it to be bland, and a much simpler recipe than I would serve at home. The profiteroles were AWFUL, the choux was not rested properly before adding 1-2 too many unbeaten eggs, and I’d expect at least a proper cream filling in a nice restaurant. I could go on for paragraphs about how bad these profiteroles were and how to make them properly, but I think you get the picture.

Braised Rabbit special, appetizer, salad, Belgian Chocolate Tart & Coffee, pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, the place has just been sold and will close 12/31/19 after over sixty years in business. It will be turned into a comedy club. If you want to experience true fine dining, don’t wait!

This is my absolute favorite place to dine in Los Angeles. I have been here many many times with friends or to simply take myself out for an amazing dinner. There isn’t a dish on this menu that I don’t enjoy (and I’ve tried nearly all of them). The staff is wonderful here and there’s always familiar faces whether it’s your second time or you’re a frequent flyer like myself. I can always count on a delicious, relaxing meal here.

Went here for my brother’s high school graduation. The restaurant has a very clean and relaxing atmosphere that really sets you into the mood to try French cuisine. Waiters and waitresses are very kind, service is well checked, and the food is marvelous to try out as well as their desserts. Music is of perfect choice and very soothing. I highly recommend going to this restaurant if you’re looking for a French eatery. This was my first restaurant I had ever tried a French dish and it was a perfect and a well done first experience. Five out of five stars is the perfect rating for this location as it is well deserved for its perfection and not a single lack of touch in any aspect of business! I’m happy that Le Petit Château is the place to let me try something new in my life and I urge everyone else to come here!

We went here for th first time last Saturday after purchasing a Groupon. The escargot were tougher than shoe leather, sent back. Service was worse than bad. Portions of the filet medallions small for the price. Not right when you wait for a waiter and give up and go to the bar yourself. We were in a room almost totally by ourselves, away from the main dining room and felt totally forgotten. Be aware the prices at online menu are not what they actually are at restaurant. Restaurant much higher than website. Save your money, dine elsewhere.

I love Le Petit Chateau. The food and atmosphere are truly French. What I love are the incredibly good food and professional staff. The wait staff will select the perfect wine, even for a group of people ordering different meals. This is not a rushed experience. Your dining time can easily take two to three hours. Bon Appétit.

Had dinner there with my wife celebrating our 33rd anniversary. The atmosphere was wonderful, the service excellent and the food was exquisite. For some reason this was our first visit here but it won’t be the last. Thank you for a memorable evening.
