Outstanding food! Both the wings and Beef-on-weck sandwich are better than any place in Buffalo. The wings are better than Duffs and BOW is better than Charlie’s. The BOW does not get soggy on the homemade rolls and has a good amount of meat. Wings are served with blue cheese, thank you!! The owner is extremely friendly and has great passion for the food. Must try, you won’t be disappointed and probably will become your favorite wing place.

Great place for bar food fare but with a fresh made taste. You have to try the amazing homemade fried mozzarella sticks! Their chips are lightly seasoned and not too salty. The fried chicken sandwiches we got were huge and not the least bit greasy. I’ll definitely be back to give their pizza a try.

Gotta love the local spots! Known for their wings and wood fired pizza. I can attest as a western NY native that these are very good, well prepared wings. I had the medium and they would rate as hot at most places. I definitely felt the burn and even just on the edge of a nice sweat . I spoke to a couple different locals while waiting for my food. They were both there to buy the wings and pizza and specifically said “these are the best wings in town”. With home made desserts and sides you can take home, the owner operators are serving up their best work for your enjoyment. I will definitely come here again.

This is some of the best pizza and wings around! Their wood fired crust is perfectly crispy on the outside with a chewy interior. I love the garlic they put into their pizza. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza most recently and was blown away. They were not shy about the blue cheese and it was awesome. They have some of the crispiest wings you will find in the area. After living in Buffalo it’s hard to find wings that can complete, but these definitely do.

If you’re big on friendly customer service this may not be the best place for you. But for me, I cared more about the food. A key point for me was walking in and seeing a brick oven in the kitchen. Now I haven’t tried all their food but I can tell you what to get. Whether it be the BBQ or buffalo chicken sandwich- you have to order a side of mozzarella sticks with raspberry sauce. Put one mozzarella stick inside add a little raspberry on top and you have a bomb sandwich.

Beef on Weck is a treat. Real horseradish and beef. Pickle & homemade chips to nibble while your eyes water. Nice bun, too.
Caesar salad is good and there’s a good amount of fresh chicken on it. Nice cheese freshly shredded and green lettuce-no parts you wouldn’t serve family if you made it yourself. Get 2 dressings- you will run out otherwise.
Chicken Philly wasn’t necessarily on the menu but made to request. Nice, huh! Hard ciabatta roll, fresh pieces of chicken, with onions, and cheese melted over it, and marinara sauce added a nice flavor to the ciabatta. Self-service Coke fountain drinks available.

Scrubbers is simply a classic Pizza joint with elevated flavors and a nurturing food experience. Never had a issue with the food quality as the flavors and ingredients have always surpassed any “real” Italian joint in the area. There wings always crispy and sauced well. The margarita pizza, I’d only buy from scrubbers. The older couple running this location understand food flavors and as a albany resident I will always take this drive as there’s no other pizza location that can top there food.
