Happy accident for us passing through from Astoria.
A friendly welcome and prompt seating. Great service especially considering it was about 1230 and busy.
We went with the fish and chips and buffalo chicken burger, fries and Cajun tots. Everything was really solid and the buffalo chicken was pretty much perfection. Great portions as well.
We love what they did with ambience as well, unfitted hardware store into restaurant.
We will certainly be back, not only for of the food but most of all these days: for the friendly upbeat service.

We stopped in thinking we would just have a beverage and ended up ordering the Pastrami Sandwich (made with house brined and smoked pastrami), which was delicious. The bartender was really friendly and even gave us a few other recommendations for places to go during our travels (he did not steer us wrong!). I personally liked that it was away from the congestion of the main part of town. It’s a quaint little bar and we are glad we gave it a try. (Note: the photo of the food is half the order we shared.)

Great service, excellent staff and good food! An interesting atmosphere, not a ton of tables but it’s a great little spot.

We walked to all the pubs in town to check out the TV’s for the Seattle Seahawks game. Landed here early and got prime seats at the bar. Rich was tending behind the counter and when his Broncos won their game, he served us Seahawk fans with just as much enthusiasm as the people there before us. Great little pub, great service from Rich, we had onion rings for appetizers then their famous (they smoke their own beef) Philly Cheese steak sandwich with tots. It was SO good. As mentioned, the food was great, company was fun and the atmosphere was exactly what you wanted for watching a game! Highly recommend.

The crew working tonight – 2-22-26- was outstanding!!! Made us feel like locals. Great service, great food, great hole-in-the-wall bar — wish we had a bar like this with awesome people like this in our home town. Screw and Brew is one of the reasons we travel thousands of miles each year to come to Cannon Beach! Oh ya, the ocean is there too

I have to say, fish and chips are not my thing, but they claim it is their signature dish. It’s by far the most expensive fish and chips I’ve had, only having it a few times before our time at Screw and Brews. It was slightly greasy, but overall, it tasted fine. It didn’t blow my mind. The fish (halibut) came with their famous tartar sauce. The sauce had a light taste, and it was good. The fries that came as a side were nothing special. Very nice service, down-to-earth and friendly. I wasn’t overly impressed, but the service was nice, and there was a quick turnaround on the food. It’s a unique experience; you can get your hardware and food at one stop. Next time you need some duct tape or a quick fix for your camper, stop in and beat the hangry monster before you make the camper repair worse.

Quirky and fun. Waitstaff was attentive, but not overly so, never had to ask for a Iced-T refill. She was on it. Food was excellent! Fries and onion rings had the perfect amount of salt, everything was delish!!

Fun restaurant in Cannon Beach right along Rt. 101 with decent food and good service.

My partner and I both ordered the Grilled Cheese with chips, and loved the sandwich. Our son ordered the Pastrami with Fries and he did enjoy the flavors and the sandwich. Our sons girlfriend ordered the Ecola Burger with tater tots and really liked the burger.

Our waiter was very friendly and helped us pick a few places along the coast to stop for views of the beaches.

Worth a stop while visiting Cannon Beach.

This place would have had Anthony Bourdain hanging out for an entire day. While the food is nothing that will blow your mind, it was tasty, and the atmosphere and prices are worth it. The restaurant has truck and airplane seats for chairs, tools, hardware, and other random stuff hanging and covering the walls and ceilings, and music thay was equally eclectic. Death Cab for Cutie to CCR to funk – the chef clearly just put on a mix of what they liked. This place seemed like it had a huge local customer base. We saw a lady bring the staff cookies and other locals pop in to chat. The staff were super kind and helpful. We’d go back again for sure. This place simultaneously makes no sense and all the sense in the world. Great vibes all around.

This place is great. Staff is awesome, I smoked meats and cheeses are fantastic. Good beer selection. And all of your hardware store needs as well. I make it a point to go in anytime I’m driving by or through Cannon Beach.
