I’ve been a customer of Scratch Kitchen since their old location downtown on Garfield. Sometimes location changes can change the atmosphere and overall function of a restaurant, but from a customer’s pov, this place has only been enhanced. The food is consistently excellent and selections are always fresh and rotational. Intentionality is exactly what comes to mind when I dine here. I almost always go for the Hash bowl, even since years back. It’s truly that good. Any protein options on it will do it justice, but the tofu or chicken really locks in all the flavors. My partner got the seasonal salad (pictured) which was massive and beautiful. The price you pay for the food comes back ten fold. Ginger lemonade & drip coffee with chai syrup were spectacular! Service has always been great even with staff changes, and it’s always impressive to see the owner working on the kitchen line. Love to the pretty girl with the afro who was delightful to chat with despite how busy it was this morning. This has been one of my favorite & most consistent restaurants I’ve ever found in Lafayette, and I’ve lived here my whole life. I’ve been a constant customer since years back and I don’t see that changing soon. 10/10 spot!

I had the Comfort Bowl, which is lima bean based, was flavorful NOT SALTY.. Again, fresh ingredients!! Lavender Tea was somethin I never had before but it was refreshing. A real healthy alternative for those who live a active, clean, fitness driven lifestyle FOR SURE

This was a HIT. The chicken quesadilla were the best I ever had- tortilla filled with chicken, broccoli, squash, tomatoes and dipped in an avocado sauce. Staff was super friendly, atmosphere was bohemian and organic. It didn’t feel like I was in Lafayette. Relaxed and aligned. Strongly suggest.

Omgggg…… this place is a GEM ✨️ fresh cooked to order unique food!!! Fresh! Fresh! Fresh. I had the Curry with Gulf Shrimp and the Quesdilla with Gulf shrimp. Hand made Cappuccino was delicious .
They only thing that bothered me was the signs on the restrooms letting you know that a man would have the option to go into the woman’s restroom that has two stalls. Not sure what I would have done if a male would have come in the bathroom while I was in it.

Absolutely loved this place! Stopped here to grab some early dinner on our way out of Lafayette. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is incredible! It’s a pop of beauty in that location. Food is phenomenal! Service is 10/10. We ordered the Hash Bowl & a burger. It was delicious. I live 2 hours away from Lafayette and I’m already planning to go back soon. Definitely give it a try if you’re in town.

This is a very popular place and for good reason. The restaurant was full so it took a little while for the food to arrive. But that’s also because they make things from scratch, hence the name! The food was delicious, good quality, very fresh and no “fillers” like french fries unless you ordered them as a side, but there were tons of offerings as sides to choose from.
You order at the counter. When you go in, they give you a number and you take it to a table. The place is very colourfully and tastefully decorated which was a lot of fun. The three of us had a Bowl, a scratch burger and the dish called Scratch, with pulled pork. All delicious!
You pour your own coffee and water at the sidebar, which was convenient. The lemonade and ice tea were also excellent.

I’m going to start by saying that the ambience instantly steals the show when you walk in. Vibrant colors and beautiful plants made me feel so welcomed and excited to eat. I had breakfast here for the first time and everything was AMAZING!
The service was A1, the Lavender Lemonade was super cute & tasty, the food was FRESH like best food I’ve had in Laffy, lastly I also had the Ginger Cookie it was to DIE FOR! So fresh, so moist, baked to perfection. Mid way through eating it was upset that I only purchased 1 lol

First time dining here. We had a little wait to order but that gave us time to decide what we wanted. I had the burger salad and Tomato Peachy bisque. My friend had rhe Scratch burger. Everything was amazing. It was pricey but you get what you pay for. fresh food. I definitely will be back. Thoroughly enjoyed. I also had a hot Oak milk Latte. Very yummy.
