I love the little shop vibes. The people here are always friendly and welcoming. I get the same thing, mostly, for the past decade ?(give or take a few years ♂️ ♂️ ♂️) Large Roast Beef with Bacon and extra Roast Beef. Dry. For the entirety of my patronage I get the same question, “No mayo? No oil? Okay. Give us 10 minutes, thank you.” I love this place. I hope it never goes away!

I will never forget this. I went there a long time ago. I ordered a hamburg pizza with lots of sauce. While the guy was making the pizza I politely asked for more sauce on it and he gave me a hard time and basically said it wouldn’t happen again. I was just flabbergasted. Sauce is the cheapest thing on a pizza. I make pizza at home and can get a 7 pound can of sauce (12 measured cups) for $8. Five bucks if I buy a case of six from a distributor.

My husband went here Sunday Jan. 19th because nothing else was open, only reason for going here. He brought me home a Steak n Cheese w mayo, well it had garlic, few onions on it and the Steak didn’t even fill the large roll. Wasn’t Pleased for such a highly successful business in the South End.
