Awesome place, nice staff. Good food and drinks. Large fresh portions. Lost a star for saying the mimosas were $8 but then charging $10 for the little bottle of champagne and extra for the juice. Was a little deceiving there. Also charged us for too go containers but it’s a small business so that’s to be expected in today’s world.

Just passing through on our way back to Austin. Atmosphere was a small town bar setting. Definitely felt like a comfortable local spot. We did a bunch of appetizers as our meal. Everything was a hit but the queso. Boom boom shrimp as delicious. The staff was very friendly. Only negative for us was the smoke coming in from the patio. Not a huge deal though. If a little smoke smell bothers you, probably not the place to stop. If you can handle that and want to support a chill spot while traveling, definitely check it out.

Loved the patio/sports deck at this place on a sunny Sunday afternoon. My spaghetti and meatballs was excellent ($18 – deal!) and my wife’s ribeye strips, mashed potatoes, beans were also tasty and a great value. If you’re driving thru Coleman and looking for something more than a quick taco, burger or bbq, do yourself a favor and give Scotty’s a try. I think you’ll be glad you did. Super friendly servers, fun ambiance (if you can handle the cigarette smoke) and comfortable patio vibe.

We’ve been to Scotty’s so many times and the experience is always wonderful! They’re our go to because it’s reliably a good time. And’s they’re kid friendly which is super important to us. The food is always delicious and fresh. Some of our favorites is the burgers, the flatbread, and the bang bang shrimp. The mimosas and the margaritas are always incredible as well. And the vibes are always immaculate! The staff is friendly and attentive and their outdoor space is so inviting. They were my choice for my birthday this year because I knew I could count on a great experience!

On our way to Colorado from Houston/Austin we stopped in at Scotty’s for lunch. We picked it for the menu and the dog friendly patio for our two pups. Wonderful back story, friendly service and very cool Star Wars themed bathroom! Loved the broccoli cheese soup, club sandwich, mac&cheese two ways, steak bites, angel hair pasta, and atmosphere! Great stop!

I can’t believe I haven’t stopped in already, but let me say, that was 100% worth the wait. Miquel (I think that’s his name) was our waiter/bartender. He was amazing. The patio has the best atmosphere too. I ate the club with no maters and it was . Keep up the great work guys. Your establishment is amazing and you will be seeing more of me!

Superb dining experience! We loved the atmosphere and Star Wars theme to drinks and some of the decor. The food was amazing. We had the boom boom shrimp, hot ham and cheese sandwich with an extra side salad, and shrimp po’boy. Everything was perfection. Our waitress, Tamya answered all our questions about the food items and was overall amazing. They have a full bar and both inside and outside seating depending on your mood. My husband described his po’boy as the best he has had outside of New Orleans and rivaled many inside New Orleans.

It’s not often that I get to use the word panache to describe something, but that’s what Scotty’s Bistro has…Scotty’s Bistro has panache. Tucked away in Coleman, TX, this place should be a landmark. I stopped in for lunch while traveling for work. Nothing about this restaurant is ordinary. The decor and cleanliness stand out when you enter. The menu looks amazing. All I got to sample was the club sandwich and fries at the recommendation of the owner, Victor. The ingredients used are not the average establishment fare. The toasted bread (maybe a sourdough) was the perfect texture and taste. The vegetables were fresh and selected for premium quality (or so it seemed). The fries, though not fresh cut are prepared beyond merely frying and salting. They seasoned and cooked well to provide a crisp texture and no oily excess. I’ll be returning to Coleman just to see what the rest of Scotty’s menu has to offer.

The margaritas was watered down and flavorless. The BBQ chicken flatbread came out cold, very little cheese, unseasoned chicken and so much BBQ sause that’s all you could taste.
The burger was literally 20% of the bun size. The fries were raw.
The service was so slow it took 20 minutes to get drinks.
Terrible service in general. The owner talked to us about are experience, apologized but seemed patronizing as he did. Then we waited for 10 minutes before having to ask to get our check.
With a price tag of $45.00 I expect WAY better.
Sonic has better food at a much better price.
