Scott’s on Broadway is one of those spots that just feels like home the second you walk in. The food is always solid, the kind of cooking that reminds you why small‑town restaurants hit different. I’ll be honest—on my last visit the meatloaf was a little on the dry side, but that’s hardly a deal‑breaker. Every place has an off day, and it won’t stop me from coming back through those doors.
What keeps me returning are the things they consistently knock out of the park. Their hamburgers? Absolutely great—juicy, flavorful, and cooked the way you actually asked for. And their salads might be the real sleeper hit on the menu. Fresh, crisp, and put together with way more care than you’d expect from a little hometown spot. It’s the kind of place where you can grab a good meal, see a familiar face, and feel like you’re supporting a business that’s part of the community.
Scott’s on Broadway isn’t trying to be fancy—it’s just good people serving good food, and that’s more than enough for me. I’ll definitely be back.

Driven past this place my whole life & just stopped in last week for the first time. I had heard they had a good salad but I ended up getting meatloaf…. I will say it was decent. The lemon pie was great as well.

Food is always great! Not so thrilled about being put on the spot and asked to leave a tip, when all I’m doing is picking up a to go order. I mean I’m not being waited on, I’m being handed my order and rang up. What exactly am I leaving a tip for? Them doing there job? It’s very rude, in my opinion. And Lord forbid you say no! The attitude that the girls gets who are ringing you up is unreal. It’s not all of them, but two in particular do this Everytime I’ve ever been in there.

Called to place an order and was hung up on before I was done, light on the toppings, and I paid double what was listed for online ordering for some reason. Definitely won’t be going back. Not worth what I spent.

The staff was friendly. The only reason I deducted a star is cuz when we first arrived at the restaurant they must serve a great deal of locals they assumed we knew the procedure and knew exactly what we wanted to eat wanted to know if we were ready to place our order soon as we got in the door and then walked off. Not until we turn to the left and thought well maybe we set ourselves did we see the sign that says order and pay for food first but then after that they gave us a paper menu. There is a huge menu in front of you once we place our order and paid for our food we set ourselves but then the waitresses did bring everything out to us, they or extremely friendly and speedy with filling up the drinks, and the food was absolutely delicious I would definitely go back and I recommend this place.

Stopped in for the first time with my daughter because of Trip Advisor recommendations. I ordered the hamburger steak with chilli and cheese, fries and a salad, my daughter got a chilli cheeseburger. I ordered my wife a grilled chicken salad and a veggie plate consisting of Mac n cheese, broccoli casserole and sweet potato casserole. I also got a small side of chicken salad and pimento cheese for my wife to try along with a 16oz of their house made ranch dressing. There were no complaints at all. Everything was delicious. The young lady who waited on us was very friendly as was everybody we encountered. To the waitress with the tattoo on her shoulder, if you’re in the market for a future ex-husband, let me know. I’m kidding. You have a beautiful smile. Thank you for a great meal and the patience you showed to us first timers. We will be back.

Found this place on a recent trip to Forest City. Had their vegetable soup and grilled cheese and it was great. You’d think it would be hard to mess up those two, but other places have definitely done it. I was inspired on another trip to FC today to stop again and try their meat and 2 veg plate. Was NOT disappointed. Everything was delicious! Only drawback is the fact it’s a 40 minute drive from my home…lol. Will definitely be coming back more often!
