This place is truly a hidden gem. From the outside, it’s very unassuming and not your typical freestanding diner, but don’t let that fool you. The food is absolutely delicious. They offer authentic Latino breakfasts alongside classic American diner fare, and everything we tried was excellent. The coffee was awesome, and the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. I live about 45 minutes away, but it was well worth the drive—and I would absolutely return. Highly recommended.

Meant to post earlier. Located right on Route 59, the Nyack Diner is a community staple that features the standard diner aesthetic—comfortable booths, a long counter, and a bustling but friendly waitstaff. Great portions and prices! My “go to” is The Chicano Omelette. ( Bacon, jalapeño peppers, onions, cilantro, and cheddar cheese)

Love this place. Eat breakfast and get takeout all the time. Especially good omelets, deserts, pastas, broiled salmon, and variety of healthy salads. Waiter always refills your coffee cup. We eat food there 4x a week. Easy parking outside. My favorite diner. (And I’ve tried them all.)

Awesome service. Plenty of table, booth and bar seating. Food was okay, decent portions. Has everything your traditional diner would have including alcoholic beverage and ice cream.

The vibe is very good. The scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection and very buttery. The French toast came out quickly and was fantastic. The coffee is neither too strong nor too light. On a Sunday morning there is a nice buzz inside of families having a meal together. Would recommend highly. Quality aura.

I ate breakfast here twice and enjoyed it each time. My first meal was the Latin Breakfast. I liked everything on the plate, especially the plantains and sausage. My second meal was eggs and pancakes. It’s was simple and good. And I can’t gorget the coffee…It made my morning better.

Stopped by Nyack Diner for breakfast, and it was the perfect start to the day! The menu is packed with diner favorites, but the real star for me was the Nutella pancakes with fresh strawberries—fluffy, rich, and absolutely delicious.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a diner—cozy, welcoming, and no-frills in the best way. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or a leisurely meal, the service is friendly, and the portions are generous.

Saturday Morning breakfast at a Diner? Why not? We made the scenic drive to Nyack and found this fantastic little spot. Friendly from the jump, we were seated right away in a cozy booth. It was busy but all I saw were a sea of happy faces. This place is doing something right. We will be back!

Visiting from out of town, we decided to stop here for a good local breakfast before hitting the road. The staff was polite, our waitress was very friendly too. I ordered the Eggs Copenhagen, my first time ever trying smoked salmon. And I love eggs Benedict, so I was excited to give this plate a try. It was freaking delicious! The poached eggs were perfect. Sauce on point. And the smoked salmon was buttery and mild. Hash browns with onions and peppers You should try it if you go! The coffee wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant, small town feel. Nice work, Nyack diner. If I’m in the area again some day, I’ll stop in again.

My wife and I stopped here on a recent road trip and got takeout. I had the southwest salad and my wife and a chicken sandwich. The salad was very tasty and fresh. The chicken I had on the salad was very tender and spiced just right. None of the flavors were overpowering so you could taste everything in the salad. My wife’s chicken sandwich was very tender, and she commented on how much she liked it and stated they were very nice to her inside. If you are local or driving across the former Tappan Zee bridge, it is defiantly worth the stop just off the highway.
