Starting with the Blue Fin Tuna Tartare and the Grilled Octopus with Potato & Saffron Aioli, both beautifully plated and bursting with well-balanced flavours.
The produce tasted fresh and premium, living up to their philosophy of simple, rustic flavours elevated with a refined touch.
For mains, the Lobster Broth Linguine with Sakura Ebi was rich, umami-packed, and very moreish, while the Charcoal Grilled Shoulder Tender Steak with Au Poivre was cooked to a perfect medium-rare, with lovely char and great seasoning.
The crispy fries on the side were addictive and thoughtfully seasoned, making the plate feel very complete.
Dessert was a highlight on its own – the Burnt Cheesecake was creamy, silky and deeply caramelised on top, striking an outstanding balance between richness and lightness.
It was the perfect way to end an already excellent meal, and it was definitely a dessert worth returning for. (Psst: I’m not a fan of cheesecake. But this one from Scotts Grill? I can easily go for a second serving! )
Service was warm, professional and genuine, with the team being happy to share recommendations and check in on us throughout the meal without ever feeling intrusive.
There was an easy camaraderie among the staff that added to the relaxed, welcoming vibe.
The cosy dining room at Shaw Centre feels modern yet comfortable, with a calm atmosphere that works well for both business lunches and casual dates. The pacing of the courses was just right, allowing us to savour each dish and enjoy our time there.
Scotts Grill is a fantastic spot along Scotts Road that delivers on quality, flavour and hospitality, all at a very reasonable mid-market price point.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying, well-executed grill experience in Orchard – will definitely be back.
When I reached the service staff didn’t seem to be aware of my reservation so I was a little bothered by it as I indicated my reservation for a birthday. Nevertheless someone came and directed me to my seats.
Next no menu was placed on the table so had to wait a bit to browse. No sharing or specials until I asked to know more.
Next about the food: Nothing fancy. We ordered Sirloin and Cod and unfortunately both were a miss. Can get better steak at half the price at iSteak with the same origin and cut, not forgetting it’s dry too. Had the same style of Cod at the Capital green restaurant by One-group and tasted a lot better and fresher. Crispy spuds were tasty (anything with bacon bits is good) but over-cooked that it was mushy inside. Caesar salad is also pretty mid.
$170+ for the bill and safe to say I’ll not be back.
The food is great but quite pricey. Probably most suitable for special occasions. Overall the meal was delicious but I think at the price point I would expect more creativity or flair with the dishes.
Giving a 4 would be too harsh but 4.5 stars would be right
The Smoked Pork Belly was very much an atas version of Char Siew, good but not wow. Same with the linguine. The spuds were on point, including the crispy bacon bits and cream sauce that reminded me of mushroom soup. Of the lot, the Striploin was most enjoyable. I appreciate them splitting the portion (as we shared it) and cooking each to our preferred done-ness.
Service was tip tops, attentive yet non intrusive. They also kindly provided a complimentary dessert for birthday celebration.
For wine lovers, do drop by for lunch on Wednesdays to enjoy their curated selection at $60++.
Not a fan of pork, but wow the pork chop was Caesar salad was addictively good too.
Only dish that could have been better was the lobster pasta – lobster was a little overcooked but flavours were still there.
Overall quiet place w good food & service.
The staff were also really friendly and attentive
Would come here again 🙂
The food is delicious and of great quality and standard, making every bite a delight. Recommended dishes: cauliflower soup, lobster & shrimp pasta, striploin steak
The basque cheesecake was tasty as well. The smooth, creamy texture and perfectly balanced flavors made it a memorable dessert. Service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and friendly without being intrusive.
I can’t wait to return and explore more of their amazing offerings!
The food itself was superb in quality. For the mains I enjoyed their dry aged striploin very much. Their pork and prawn dishes were amazing too. Dessert – we finished off with their signature basque cheesecake which was over the top yummy. Extremely creamy inside with a nice firm texture on the outside, with the sweetness level just right. They also offer decaf coffee to go with it in order not to affect their customer’s sleep later at night.
I have to say the team have thought it through and covered everything nicely from the ingredients, the menu options down to the service they provide to customers.
10/10!
I won’t hesitate to visit again with friends and family. What an amazing way to end the night with such a lovely dinner experience and being able to celebrate a special occasion tonight with one of the most accommodative service crew ever.
