Scotch & Sirloin

Scotch & Sirloin in Wichita delivers a true classic steakhouse experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels timeless and refined—dim lighting, elegant décor, and a setting that makes the evening feel special.

The steaks are the highlight, and for good reason. Cooked exactly to temperature, tender, and packed with rich flavor, you can tell they focus on quality cuts and proper preparation. Every plate is presented with care, and the sides complement the meal perfectly. It’s the kind of place where you slow down and really enjoy every bite.

The service matches the atmosphere—professional, attentive, and polished. The staff makes you feel taken care of without hovering, adding to the overall upscale experience.

Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but you’re paying for quality, ambiance, and consistency. For a special night out or when you’re craving a properly done steak in a classy setting, Scotch & Sirloin is absolutely worth it.

It’s a really nice place. It’s great for business dinners, great for special occasions, dates, or take invite a meatlover. The steaks are yummy and cooked just right. The bone-in Ribeye steak is large, be hungry and ready for it. We enjoyed the cooktails as well. Highly recommended to try.

We enjoyed our meal and had excellent service. There menu is vast and offers a big variety of food to choose from. All our food out perfectly cooked.

We had onion rings (it’s a huge order 8 pieces), wedge salad with bacon and blue cheese, warm bread (delicious!), filet, twice back potatoes, prime rib, and lobster Mac and cheese.

Plan to walk out full and happy! We plan to go back for another special event later this year.

Took husband here for his birthday. We got prime rib, baked potato, and salad. Appetizer was calamari, steak poppers and onions rings. Our daughter got 6 oz sliced loin with prawns and asparagus. Carrot cake TO GO! Food was amazing! Wonderfull service, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

We had friends ask my husband and I to go to dinner here. We had not been there in about 25 years. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was different. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. We noticed they had several different types of wine. Additionally, they have cigars for sale that are kept in humidors. The price point is higher, but worth it. They have a nice menu with a variety of options. I had their filet with truffle fries. The food was well prepared. Our waitress was a little off, but it was a busy night due to prom. We would definitely come here again every once in awhile as a treat. It is a good place to go for a special celebration.

Food was great. It’s on the expensive side but we had no complaints! We ordered a filet mignon and a KC strip. We also tried the twice baked potato (we shared it). I had a margarita and my partner had bourbon. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, it’s not loud. Service was fast and attentive. Great spot for date night or a special occasion!

One of the best prime ribs I have ever tasted in Wichita! The au jus and horseradish pairs perfectly with the prime rib. They give good portions on the steaks and the sides as well. I have had a pistachio martini before which I did not know was a spring seasonal item but I wished it was permanently on the menu as it is different and is my favorite cocktail! Their carrot cake was also the best carrot cake I have had so far it has plenty of spices in it while the frosting is not icky sweet compared to carrot cakes I have had in the past. The customer service is also top notch while the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is also very clean and I like how they have a dedicated room about the history of aircraft in this city.

I am going to start with the WORST…..The BATHROOMS!!! OMG I have been in Quicktrips with cleaner bathrooms!! There was no toilet paper on the roll of any of the 3 stalls that I looked at. The trash cans were over flowing. There were open rolls of toilet paper sitting in the trash cans. Tissues and paper towels were all over the floor of every stall. If this is how clean the public areas are…..what on earth could be happening in the food prep areas?? I opted to wait until I got home…oh and it was early in the evening….like 7pm…and the restaurant was only half full…
Now for the rest…

Well after years of living in Wichita I finally made it to the famous Scotch and Sirloin.
I am sorry to say I was very underwhelmed. My sister was in town and we made this reservation for my son and his new fiancé. We told SS that this was a special night and considering it was the day before Valentine’s day I thought maybe they would provide a toast or something…..nope….nada…..
Our first server was really great! Bianca! She knew her wines and was very knowledgeable but business like. We had brought two bottles along with us and she went through the decanting and education for my son like a true Pro…..but that where the fun ended. Food was slapped down by unknown servers. Portions were small and heat barely there. The Mac and cheese had a delicious sauce but there was little seafood to be found. No one checked on us….We poured our own wine several times…Our food bill alone was over $200.
Score….NEGATIVE 5 stars for the bathrooms
3 stars for the food it was just meh….
2 stars for the service.
4 stars for atmosphere and dishes. ( Wine tastes better in Riedel crystal) Its a nice place to eat…but they could be sooo much better

For all the hype and being one of the best steak restaurants in Wichita, it was okay. For the price, I don’t know why I expected more. The food did not impress my taste bud. My salmon and veggies were burnt. Calamari was good. Prime rib was delicious. Service was okay. For the type of restaurant, I expected more service and better food.

Ordered our steaks medium and they came out rare and lacked flavor even though we paid the extra few dollars for the garlic butter on top. We don’t send food back to the kitchen
