Wow, excellent food here. We had the 1 meat 1 Combo plate – more than enough for one person. Sliced brisket tasted terrific and came with tons of fries. We also had the jalapeno potato salad which was great and not too spicy. 4 BBQ sauces available, sweet and mild, sweet and spicy, spicy and mustard. All were excellent.

Super nice staff and quick for how busy they are. You walk in and the aroma of smoke just hits you in the face. Great patio out back by the stream to sit outside. Generous with their sauces. Thought the burnt ends, ribs and chopped brisket were all outstanding. If I had to pick nits we didn’t love the potato salad or cornbread. French fries were also really tasty. This place is great.

We are definitely stopping here again!! We got the three meat/two side meal. We got chicken, brisket, sausage, jalapeño potato salad, and mac n cheese. With two sweet teas, it came to $40 plus tip. Worth every penny!! The views are as good as the food. My husband said it was the best mac n cheese and mustard bbq sauce he’s ever had! I wouldn’t park in their lot. It is very tight!! The visitors center is right across the street and we will park there next time. One of my new favorite places!!

On our way home I stopped at Exxon for gas and experienced delicious smells coming from the small building next door. It’s lunchtime so we decided to go for it. The meats are smoked with hickory and pecan. My sliced brisket was delicious. My side was pinto beans and jalapeño slices. Be advised that when the day’s smoked meats are sold out, the business closes. So don’t dally!

The greatest roadside stop for BBQ. The food is top notch, with the brisket being the best anyone in my group had tried. The owner provided above and beyond service with a charming and welcoming atmosphere. This was an accidental discovery due to an unexpected traffic jam, but now has turned into what will be a favorite stop for us between Denver and Summit.

The real deal here!! I’m a native Texan and here’s your post oak smoke …aka the only way to cook BBQ. Brisket is really consistent and always has a good bark but the rub doesn’t make it all the way into the meat so the interior meat could be a little more flavorful on the brisket. Had the pulled pork sandwich this last visit and that was killer with of course their amazing Mac and cheese. Fries and okra are great as well! Super friendly family owned business. 5 stars all the way!

THE BEST BRISKET I have ever had. The little place is immaculate, the new owners of the space SO nice! My hubs said the same about the coleslaw. The pintos were creamy and cooked perfectly. They make their own sauces and they are all very good! I can’t wait to try more of their offerings- honestly some of the best food in Georgetown these days. Call ahead if you have a favorite and they will make sure they save it for you! Open 5 days right now until supper or they run out. The parking is very limited so park at the Visitor’s Center and walk across the street. Some indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent quality!

Wow wow wow! Best bbq I’ve had in a long time. We had the bbq sandwich and brisket with okra. The tea was brewed perfect!
