Read most of the reviews, I can see how some people could get impatient or have expectations not met, but really I had a good experience. It wasn’t earth shattering barbecue, but it was as good as I had hoped and more. I had the chicken platter and was not dissapointed one bit. It took awhile to recieve our entrees but the waitress was on top of everything and friendly so hey

Waited nearly an hour for cold brisket and iceberg salad. No one checked on us. No one apologized. Other guests waited as long for their food. This meal was not worth $12.50 and an hour-long wait.

The service was awesome. Very down to earth and easy going. The food was perfect, their meat was so tender and full of flavor. If you are looking for a quiet, low key place with great food, here it is! The best part for this country grown girl was that the owner knew his food, and was not just trying to play the country look, his wranglers and boots were actually worn in! Thank you for the great service and food!

I’m not a fan of reviews, but after my experience at Scooter’s I had write one. Let me tell you that any bad reviews about this place are done by people with two problems. One they know nothing about BBQ, or two they are such impossible people that nothing will satisfy them. The place is neat and clean. The servers friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. I’m not a local, but I do visit Lincoln City every once in a while. Scooter’s just made my trip worth while and I look forward to future visits. Keep up the good work guys!!

Let me start by saying the reviews of this place hold true. They have a great selection of cold beer at a measley 3.50. The service was about the best I’ve seen. The cheese steak was great. My girlfriend’s chef salad was huge and looked really good. My 3 year old daughter, girlfriend and I ate for less than 40 bucks. That include 2 micro beers. Great service. Great food. Great beer. Doesn’t get much better than that.
Ate there a second night. It was just as good as the first night. This is now a favorite of Lincoln City.

As soon as we walked in the door we were welcomed in an extremely friendly, inviting way. The host was very personable and the rest of the staff was quick to respond to any requests by the patrons. The food was top notch, the drinks were as well and as for dessert, the mixed berry cobbler was by far the greatest we have ever had! If you’re in Lincoln City, go here, it’s a must!

The food was great. But the service left a lot to be desired. Thus the 4 stars. The waitress apologized for the delay (35 mins) to get a BLT and a beef brisket sandwich. Hopefully it was just a staffing issue. But if this is a normal occurrence they have serious problems. I will return because the food was that good. Hopefully this was just a one time occurrence.

Stopped for a couple of sandwiches to go. Had them ready in 10 minutes with all the fixings. Best brisket I’ve had in a restaurant. Perfect flavor and texture. Pulled pork was great too. Good variety of sauce too.

Owner is fun! Grandsons got chicken strips and grilled cheese, with fries. Fries were so over salted. Chicken strips were “over fried”. Grilled cheese was excellent! My Philly steak & cheese was horrible. No onions and the peppers were not even attempted to be sautéed. Nothing was brought together in this sandwich at all. If this is the way they are going to serve it, take it off the menu. I very, very rarely leave a review on anything. The best thing I can say about this restaurant would be my ’56 Bel Air sitting in the lot as we ate.

Memorial Day weekend 2017, Sunday night, at 6:30. We walked in, a party of two adults. It took nearly 15 minutes to be seated, the same for the two folks that walked in at the same time we did. The wait staff would not even look at us. We were then seated. We ordered dinner, and waited 1 minute shy of one hour for dinner to arrive at our table. During this time, the staff made the family next to us wait at least 20 minutes after they were seated to take their order. Then 15 minutes or so after that, the staff came back to tell them they were out of one of the items they had ordered. Then they made them, yes THEM, pick up and literally move their table closer to the wall to make room for another group at the nearest empty table next to them. The wait staff then, in an effort to add another chair to the table they made our neighbors move over to make room for, lifted a chair up and over the head of the woman who came in at the same time we did, and she had to duck so they would not hit her head with the chair leg. And she had, just moments before, had her dinner delivered to her table, so they lifted a chair, from the floor, up and over her head and her dinner plate. Are they serious? Really? So, you, dear reader, must be wondering by now, HOW WAS THE FOOD? The ‘Pulled Chicken’ was chopped and served with dry white bread, the beef brisket was borderline moist, and served with dry white bread. And a tiny plastic container of BBQ sauce. If you go here for a meal, may God help you, because I sure as hell can’t.
