It’s drive-through only, but the line moves fast, so I’m never stuck waiting long—which is perfect when you’re on a tight schedule.
Today I ordered the White Chocolate Mocha and a spicy sausage burrito. The coffee was perfection—smooth, flavorful, and exactly what I needed. The spicy burrito hit the spot too. Just enough to curb the hunger without feeling too heavy.
If you’re in Pearland and need a quick, delicious coffee run, Scooter’s is a solid choice every time
The lady said because I was ordering at the window, I would need to pay and then go back into the drive-thru line and wait, because she didn’t want the customers behind me to wait. I said, couldn’t the other employee make it right now since she already knows about it? She said no, because I placed the order at the window and the other employee was busy making the other orders.
While she was explaining this, there were only two cars behind me at the time. I said, well, while you’re spending all this time talking to me, I’m sure she could have made the drink. She said, “I’ve worked here for four years. I know what I’m doing, and it’s Scooters’ policy that if you place an order at the window, you have to go back around.”
I said, well, I’m not going to move because you’re spending more than five minutes going back and forth with me when the drink could have been made. Now four extra cars have pulled into the drive-thru during this back and forth.
She said yes, but that she also would not serve me and asked me to leave. I said, wow, okay—how much is it? She asked if I was going to move, and I said yes. She took the cash and gave me my three items. I asked for my receipt twice, and then I pulled up and waited.
I refused to wait behind six cars. Less than one minute, another employee walked out and kindly handed me my drink.

I returned weeks later and ordered two cinnamon rolls — one for myself and one for another person. At the intercom, I politely requested that they be warmed because they are usually served cold. The employee responded with a smart remark, but I chose not to engage. I paid for the order and left.
As I was driving away, I opened the bag and discovered that the cinnamon rolls were still cold. I returned and respectfully asked if they could warm them. The girl in the photo told me no. I then requested a refund, and she called her manager, who also refused.
After that, the employee proceeded to call the police on me.
Multiple police officers followed me, activated their sirens, and blocked traffic to track me down. Officer Ryan blocked my vehicle and another woman’s vehicle in, then demanded my ID so they could “put me in the system.” He indicated that I would not be allowed to leave until they determined whether I had committed a crime at Scooters.
The entire experience was terrifying and deeply upsetting. It is disheartening how quickly situations escalate in this town, and how easily Black individuals can be treated as criminal suspects over a simple customer service dispute.
Lately, I’ve also noticed they’re closed at random times, which can be frustrating when you make the trip. Most of the employees are super friendly and welcoming, though there was one time when a staff member came off really rude — maybe there’s been some tension behind the counter.
Overall, I’ll keep coming as long as they’re open, but I do think there’s room for improvement with consistency, hours, and menu variety.
Update 6/30/24 was great mostly until recent visit, i got a drink and tried to drink it a couple days later and it was completely sour. I have never had an issue saving some for a few to couple days till this time. And it was sooo disgusting i had to throw it away. And have not received a response to my visit, and have filled out the form online.
Update 7/2/24 contacted them four times and still no response on the sour milk / drink
Update 10/18/25 they eventually gave me a free drink. But today i went asked for no ice as always and they said they can’t refill the rest of the drink with milk. I’m paying over $9 for one drink and they cant even finish it off with milk. Milk is not expensive. Pictures below of how much is missing. I’m sorry if i don’t want ice in my drink to water it down. Guess they don’t need my business.
Update 2/21/26 absolute trash. I went to get coffee this morning then when i got home i got a notification that double smiles after 12noon. I would have waited if i knew that
