Is this establishment particularly welcoming? Unfortunately not. If you are interested in purchasing coffee, I would suggest using the drive-thru exclusively. Despite having three staff members present, it took one of them seven minutes to acknowledge us, without even a greeting. It appeared as though our presence was an inconvenience and they seemed put off by taking our order. This was my first experience feeling decidedly uncomfortable in a coffee shop. While waiting, I took the opportunity to photograph the accumulated dust above the coffee machines, which now raises concerns about the potential presence of dust particles and fiberglass from the insulation in each coffee served.

My first time trying their drinks and I guess my expectation was too high. The only thing I would recommend was their caramelicious. (the team was definitely kind and sweet with good services.)
Brew coffee I had it black to taste, unfortunately it was bitter yet watery with a sweet smell that was too intense.
Caramelicious latte was great tho. The espresso, milk, and caramel were well blended into a smooth texture.
Pumpkin Chai was super sweet. I barely tasted the chai but only the over sweet spices syrup.

My wife and I love Scooters, it is the one place we know we can get good coffee, but this location was very disappointing. There was a very long line in the drive thru, so we decided to go inside to order our drinks. There were three employees working at the time, and it took almost ten minutes for one of them to even acknowledge us. Once one of them walked over to take our order, we didn’t even get a hello, or sorry for the wait, all we got was just a blank stare. Once we ordered, I watched all three employees finish 8 different drive thru ordered before starting ours. Total time we were there was almost 20min. At least our drinks were made correctly. Don’t recommend going inside, they definitely prioritize the drive thru!!

In my travels I have stopped at numerous Scooter Coffee locations. I have to say that the Nebraska City location has the most rudest employees. Don’t expect smile on the employee’s face or even a thank you for stopping. The drive-thru employees are more worried about what is going on inside the restaurant instead of the person they are supposed to be helping in the Drive-Thru. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a rude employee at the drive-thru. I’ve always thought to myself maybe that person just having a bad day but it’s everyday. They just take your money expect a tip and give you a look like scoot your butt out of the drive-thru and stop bothering me. We’ll have to say this is my last time I will scoot through this location.

I hope I get her name right, Keira, was very sweet and patient. It was my first time in and she was very helpful. No one else even greeted or smiled at me as I waited at the counter. I’m not complaining about the wait because they were busy but it doesn’t hurt to smile or say they’ll be with me in a minute. Thank you Keira for making me want to come back.

My latte with Almond milk was so creamy! I loved it, and also the Everything Bagel Sandwich was yummy! Piping hot, and just a bit spicy. Atmosphere is relaxing. Definitely would go back!

Pretty quick service, the drinks were nice, but what I really came here to say is that the barista (I unfortunately do not remember their name) who made my group’s drinks on 6/4/25 went above and beyond to make sure that all our drinks were 100% dairy free. My friend has a severe dairy allergy and this barista came up to me and showed me the labels on everything to be certain that it would be safe. I cannot express how important this was and how happy it made me that, despite being pretty busy, they took the time to really make sure my friend wouldn’t end up in the hospital.

Their breakfast sandwiches were amazing. They were hot, and fresh, the cheese was completely melted. Their coffee was amazing. I had the caramel blend with extra caramel and whip.
