I do feel it is important that I provide some key information:
-I did place a mobile order at 7:45, and arrived at the location/speaker at 7:51.
-I have and still do work in the customer service industry for 5 years, and I do understand that it can be extremely frustrating when people come right before close. HOWEVER, I never direct or make these frustrations known to the customer (we are still open after all)
– There was another car behind me, so I was not the sole reason they were not able to close
When I arrived at the window, I waited for about 5 minutes, which I have no issue with. The issue comes when I am handed my last drink(s) and she says “sorry for the wait, but we do close in literally 1 minute so.” Already feeling bad because i personally know how annoying it can be, I reply “I know I’m so sorry” and she says “yeah. You’re good.”
It was very obvious that she was annoyed by me (these are the only words she said) and was trying to make it known that I was an inconvenience to her. I genuinely understand how this is frustrating, but I feel that she was very unnecessarily rude, not to mention she still had to serve someone behind me.
I genuinely love this location and have had the employees be so kind, which is why this experience stood out.
I have to say, I am unfortunately less likely to visit this location after this experience.
The drinks were wonderful, as usual.
