I’m always really pleased with the service here. The wait time is minimal even when the line looks excruciatingly long. Im surprised how swiftly it moves. The quality of the beverages are great. I’ve enjoyed the Inclusions (redbull), thier frozen drinks (w/ice cream not crushed ice), iced coffees, sparkling Sodas, hot drinks too!

Thier bakery and breakfast items are great too, though on the small size, so they are filling. I typically get a bite to eat for my Grandson or if I just need something to keep me from being hangry till lunch/supper.

The staff has always been friendly and kind, answering questions about the menu when new things pop up.

I highly recommend this place as a great stop for some delicious drinks.

The prices are a little high. I ordered 3 coffees and 2 breakfast burritos and I didn’t get one of the burritos. They’re small and almost $6 so after driving alllll the way home in the blizzard, I was mad. I called them and whoever I spoke to was very nice and helpful, she said to come back and they’ll fix it… I’m sorry but I wasn’t driving all the way back in a blizzard to get something that should of been in my bag to begin with and I feel like they should reimburse me for that.

I am beyond frustrated with Scooter’s Coffee in Kendallville, Indiana. The only reason I keep going back is because it’s two minutes from my house and I actually like the taste of their iced espresso with oat milk. That’s IT. Because the customer service here is consistently awful!

I have never been treated the way I have at this location.. and not just once. It’s been more times than the fingers on my hands. If you order something exactly by the book, you’ll probably be fine. But if you dare to deviate from their preset recipes even slightly, good luck. They’ll either tell you they “can’t do that,” try to upcharge you, or act annoyed that you even asked.

Today was just the latest example. I ordered a large sugar-free Caramelicious with oat milk, added two extra espresso shots, and asked for extra ice in an extra-large cup (because obviously, extra ice and extra espresso take up space). When they handed me my drink, it was a dark brown color. Not what a latte should look like, so I politely asked for a little more oat milk. I heard one barista flat-out say “no,” and then the manager came up to “educate” me about how they can’t add more because of their “measurements” and “cost of doing business.” She said she’d give me more milk this one time but next time I’d be charged extra. Mind you, this drink would’ve been NINE DOLLARS if it hadn’t been free from my rewards.

Starbucks would never. They are kind, consistent, and accommodating, even if you just order a plain coffee. Meanwhile, Scooter’s treats you like an inconvenience for asking simple questions or wanting your drink made correctly.

There are one or two baristas here who are friendly and great, but most of the time I leave irritated and questioning why I even bothered coming. I’ve also heard from multiple people in town that they’ve had the same experiences. Overpriced drinks, poor service, and inconsistency.

Will I probably go back? Yeah, because there’s nothing else close and I do like the taste (and apparently being treated like I don’t understand how coffee shops work). But I’m honestly sick of walking away angry from what should be a simple coffee stop. Should Starbucks ever make her way here, you know where you’ll find me. Kendallville deserves better.

I got the super skinny caramel latte and my friend got the skinny vanilla latte. It definitely tastes like it’s sugar free but I am so happy they even had this option. The service was great and fast and I definitely wish it was closer to my house we drove 40 mins to try this place!

I bought a sparkling blue raspberry lemonade with energy cause my butt was dragging. I love this place. The girls are always friendly and sunny. They always laugh at my corny jokes which I appreciate.

After moving back to the area from living in Colorado the last 4 years and being a lead barista at Scooter’s, I was so excited to see a Scooters when I went to the apple festival in Kendallville. I HAD to get a white mocha peanut butter cup (one of few coffee shops that offer or use real peanut butter). Granted they were really busy, my drink had no espresso in it. You can tell this not only by color and taste but also consistency of the blended drink with no warm liquid. I went back through and they insisted there was espresso in it. THERE WAS NOT. They made a second drink that wasn’t even what I ordered (wanted white mocha peanut butter with oat milk no whip- got mocha peanut butter likely with ice cream base and whipped cream). Very disappointed in the experience especially after being so excited.

Has became my favorite place to get coffee! The drinks are amazing and aways well made. But the staff is even more amazing, they are all so kind and upbeat! This location is always connecting with the community and with customers! Rewards system is great too, and I absolutely LOVE how they have an actual childrens menu! My babies love getting their own little drinks and donuts!

I always love Scooters during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season because they have the best Sugar Cookie Coffee. I had to drive through Kendallville this morning, so I decided I’d stop for something new, I love trying different flavors. Cinnamon and Brown Sugar seems like a great combination to me so….however, I find the cinnamon is hiding, and the brown sugar is overwhelming the drink. I’m definitely not a fan of this one, but I will say that I love the experience at Scooters, so I’ll keep going back.
