We were passing through the area and wanted ice cream so I did a Google maps search and found Scoops. The name “Scoops” made me think they would serve ice cream, but they didn’t. Instead they had frozen custard, which is fine. We got toppings added, but they were just thrown in the bowl on top of the custard. We’re used to Andy’s, Mr. Wizard, and Ted Drew’s…the custard and toppings tasted good, I just thought it was weird to not mix the toppings into the custard. Even McDonald’s mixes in their toppings.

Overpriced for the amount you get. The ice cream is decent. The snow cone flavors are very good, I recommend Coconut and Blue Bubblegum. The only complaint I have is I used to be charged 50 cents for a cup of shaved ice with no flavoring (just ice in a cup) and recently they’ve tried to charge the same price for shaved ice with flavoring which is around $3.00.

Very Slow service today. The sundaes were ok but there is a terrible lack of caramel options in the sundae and concrete mixer menu.

Pretty good! I enjoyed my cashew and caramel concrete. It was very pretty, but I felt like I missed out on eating some of the caramel because they used it to paint a swirl on the inside of the cup (which was what made it pretty), and it was not as easy as I would have liked to scrape it off with the plastic spoon that was provided!

This place has amazing custard and ice cream for years! Now they offer coffee and espresso drinks. I ordered a 20oz mocha and it has 3 shots espresso. It was delicious!!! Much better than Mc.Donalds, and just as speedy. The gentleman was friendly and even gave me a scoops card for frequent buyers! When I work in Fredericktown you can count on me getting a coffee or slushy!! Very happy!
