I’ve been coming here for years, first time I ever came here I got fried calamari with some spicy marinara sauce on it. It was delicious! Kept me coming back. This trip to Scoma’s I had the crab cakes, I was somewhat disappointed with them. It was not crispy at all, kind of soggy and the aioli sauce that came with it tasted just like mayonnaise it didn’t have much flavor to it and there was way too much of it. The special risotto of the day was on point, the scallops were cooked perfect and the risotto was so dam good! Then to top off the night I had a piece of the Torta Sette Veli, that was one of the best desserts I have had! It was light, fluffy and delicious! ❤️ I will definitely keep coming back here. If you’re in Sausalito come check this place out it’s great and you’re right on the water with great views.

Excellent dinner. Enjoyed the oysters and Crab/Shrimp Cakes along with the Calamari Frito. The Seared Scallops with Risotto was wonderful. Happy stomachs!!!

We have been here two times and loved it both times. The butternut squash soup was definitely the best, simple but so flavorful and unique and loved that they served it in the actual butternut squash! Linguini frutti di mare was also very good and the prawns in it were giant, tasty, and cooked to perfection. There is usually a long wait and pretty busy during weekends. Service is pretty good though despite business. We never got the tables with the nice view, but overall the ambiance is nice wherever you sit.

Definitely don’t go here for the food. This is a beautiful spot on the water though. The calamari was rubbery and not crisp

Linguini Frutti Di Mare: the prawns are allegedly Gulf, but they did not taste like the sweet yummy gulf prawns I’ve had at other restaurants, these tasted low quality and muddy-Not fresh. The mussels, also yucky.

Beautiful setting for any occasion! Friendly staff. Excellent menu. We enjoyed the white clam chowder, crab and shrimp cakes, and sole and lobster risotto mains. Hubs drank the California old fashioned. It came with the large ice he likes. Our waiter took our picture with the tiramisu decorated plate. Lovely dining experience.

Had the crispy burrata and the linguini con vongole – both were delicious. I walked in with no reservation, and was seated immediately. Service was attentive and kind – overall a great experience!

We had a great meal at this iconic seafood spot located on a small wharf jutting out into the bay on a cool and drizzly Saturday in April.

While we were hoping for more hospitable weather so as to enjoy the view, San Francisco’s notoriously climate pushed in some light rain.

Nonetheless, we arrived early for our 6:45 reservation and were very pleased to be seated in the prime part of the restaurant-a porch like area all the way at the end surrounded on three sides by windows. With large mirrors on the walls, everyone has a view to the water. This part of the place seats maybe 20 people. There’s another larger area in the center with windows on two sides but you’ll want to try to get these prime spots if you can.

This place is bustling and the efficient waiters are constantly filling water glasses and bringing food and clearing tables. The menu focuses on seafood.

We had had a big lunch so decided to do salads and appetizers. Both The arugula pear salad and the special gem salad were fantastic-fresh and flavorful. The Dungeness crab cakes and Spanish style shrimp (Gambas) were also wonderful. I’m a sucker for good sour dough bread and theirs didn’t disappoint. Toss in a couple of glasses of Grgich hills fume blanc and it’s just about my perfect meal in the Bay Area.

Well done.
