Scolapasta at Tysons Galleria is an absolute gem! The fact that you can build your own pasta with freshly made noodles takes the experience to another level. Everything is made fresh daily, and you can really taste the quality in every bite.
I tried two of the chefs’ favorites and they did not disappoint. The shrimp scampi with squid ink spaghetti, lobster base, shrimp, and basil was rich, buttery, and packed with flavor. The spaghetti and meatballs with pomodoro sauce was simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious—proof that classic dishes done right always win.
I also built my own pasta with a creamy cacio e pepe sauce, tagliatelle noodles, and chicken. It was cheesy, peppery, and honestly gave chicken Alfredo vibes in the best way possible. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at how everything was prepared made the experience even better.
For dessert, the cannoli were perfectly crispy and creamy, and the tiramisu was so good I had to order a second one. Overall, amazing food, great vibes, and a must-visit spot if you’re in the DMV.

Excellent fast casual pasta place with a variety of fresh pastas. The texture was spot on, the mushrooms were fresh and sauce was nice. For $13 to get a bowl of nice fresh pasta nowadays is great. Highly recommend. The service is average as my pasta was done and they didn’t call me for a while. The atmosphere is at a mall food court. It is what it is.

Saw some videos about this place on my TikTok and I had to come try it for myself. I was a bit skeptical about the portion size because the videos made the boxes look small but in real life they are actually so big and I had leftovers! There are various options to mix and match ranging from sauce to pasta type but out of the two ones I tried I think the truffle sauce was amazing.

we ordered the arrabiata radiatori with burrata and the hulk. service was friendly and the food came out quick and piping hot! the pasta was perfectly al dente, tasted amazing, and the portions were huge – such a great deal for a serving of pasta under $20 in tysons. can’t wait to come back!
