I just happened upon this place and what a find! The owners are so nice and friendly and I could see they have a real passion for educating people about the health benefits from the food they serve.
I had the Paneen Tika Masala and the Haleem. Both were excellent. Very flavorful.
I am going to come here again and I will spread the word. It made my night!

Friendly service. The owner will give information about what food is being served and how it adds nutritional value in our life. They really do go beyond just serving you a meal.

Love the desserts. Please don’t miss out on the mango lassi.

Also a unique concept of passing on a free meal for someone in need. So proud of this mission.

We live within walking distance, actually discovered this place on the app “Too Good to Go” and decided to give it a try. The chicken was perfectly spiced, moist, fresh and flavorful, the rice was sprinkled with fried onion bits. It came with yogurt to dip our chicken into. There was a delicious sauce for the rice. The naan bread was spot on! Owner was more than gracious. The restaurant is extremely clean and spacious.

Me and my roommate tried this on too good to go. Service was really friendly and the food was really good. Homemade seems like clean ingredients. I enjoyed my time here.

Amazing establishment with tremendous heart, and an incredible mission! It was a joy meeting Taher. He was warm and welcoming, and the food was nutritious and delicious. We had the chicken tikka masala, fermented lentil pops, a colorful, nutrient dense salad, strawberry, and berry cream delights which were all exceptional. Everything is prepared from scratch with whole food ingredients, and you can taste it with every bite. Will definitely be back!!

Wonderful, flavorful, nutritious meal! Everything tasted amazing and not too heavy but filling with just the right amount of spice. Don’t skip out on the desserts!! The owner explains all of his dishes and how they are made and he takes great pride in his food. My partner has eaten here a couple of times and loves it and so do I! Highly recommend.

I found this on the too good to go app and then decided to go in person for lunch one day and the food was great! This is a non profit restaurant run by a very kind couple with a pay what you can model. If you pay for a full price meal over $10, you can write a post it note on a wall and the restaurant will pay it forward with a donation to someone in need. They also have many deals available in the form of coupons and punch cards.

They’re a nonprofit, working on improving sustainability, work with local schools and food pantries and other local businesses, and are mostly run by volunteers. As these are all things I value, I just started volunteering with them once a week and look forward to continuing. I highly recommend checking them out!

Found them on the too good to go app and the food was delicious. They then let me know they were a nonprofit that was helping the community. So not only were the prices low, the food delicious, but they’re also doing so much good for the community. Highly recommend.

I don’t know how anyone could not walk in here and appreciate this place. Decor is simple and straightforward because they need to focus on what they are doing to help the community. The food is healthy, house-made and amazing! There is a sliding scale option for people who can’t afford full price, what other place even does that? This place is lovingly run by a generous husband and wife team and I appreciate what they are doing so very much!

Sci Eats is a hidden gem in the San Diego/ SDSU area everyone should know about! The owners, Taher and his wife Maria are the kindness business owners you could ever hope to meet, and they are a Non Profit eatery with a mission to support the community. They offer “pay what you can” meals which are so heavily needed during this difficult economic times. They also have a Giving Wall where a free meal is donated on your behalf after yours is purchased, donated to a customer in need. I’ve never been to a restaurant with such good food, run by great people, and an amazing mission! Please make the drive to check them out! You will be in awe, and a continued repeat customer when you go there.
