The wings looked so good, I forgot to take a picture before we devoured them! They were seasoned well and so juicy! It was taco Tuesday so we tried the steak and shrimp tacos. They were amazing. The crab cake was great, no filler and tasted fresh! Melissa was our server and she was amazing and very attentive. She kept our drinks full and was a pleasure! We will surely be back for wings!!

I ordered the crab cake because it said award winning online. There was no lump crab, just mush in the center. The dip was sweet and no spicy aioli. Long John Silvers has better hush puppies. My boyfriend’s burger seemed overcooked. The singular crab cake was $38. Underwhelmed

We were really disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. My husband and I were looking forward to a good meal, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations.

The Maryland Crab Soup was barely warm when it arrived—we expected it to be served hot.
The fried cod sandwich was a letdown. The fish was soggy, and to make things worse, it had steak tomatoes, which are flavorless and low effort.
The shrimp salad had no flavor at all—just completely bland.
The steak fries tasted like they were straight from a grocery store freezer—nothing special.
The only saving grace was the staff, especially the lady with the tattoo, who was very nice and provided great service. But the food? Definitely not worth it.

We had high hopes, but sadly, we won’t be coming back.

Wonderful meal to celebrate husbands special birthday. Ended up taking our dessert back to hotel to enjoy later. Highly recommend to anyone looking for good seafood. Nice, clean restaurant & friendly service.

My husband and ordered an app (calamari) a cheeseburger with onion rings and the fish sandwich with fries along with a dessert. Let me start backwards. The desert tasted like chocolate and gasoline. The cheeseburger was ok not a lot of options to go on it just lettuce and tomatoes. The onion rings made me gag. They were not even close to done floppy and soaked in cooking oil. Underneath the onion rings it was a pool of cooking oil . Fries and fish sandwich I was told were good not great but good. The calamari was also good but only after we soaked the oil off of them with a napkin. This is the second time we tried this pla e. The first time we went for dinner and got crab cakes. They were not worth the hype nor the price from what I remember. We waited 4 years and came back to give this place a go and we will never return. Fratelli’s must have us spoiled on service and food willing to pay for both but only if its worth it and this place is not worth it. Did have the tomato soup and it was the best I ever had in my life!

Three weeks after my first review, we visited this restaurant again (Wednesday night). We got the steamed shrimp appetizer – SO good. The cocktail sauce had quite a kick, but not in a bad way. We really enjoyed it. Try dipping the house made bread in the cream of crab soup – it’s DIVINE. I had the filet and crab cake entree, known as the “Marylander” here. The filet was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The crab cake was phenomenal. Most places pair crab cake with a coconut-forward sauce, but this restaurant makes their own sauce, which didn’t seem to have any coconut in it (I hate coconut). It was AMAZING. My roommate had the “Mason-Dixon Combo”, which consisted of a filet and lobster tail. He loved it, and ate it all. I literally can’t speak highly enough about this restaurant. Every aspect of every dish I’ve had here has been phenomenal. I’ve been to some really high end restaurants and can honestly say this restaurant has the best seafood I’ve ever tasted. I don’t know if it’s the seasonings they use, or the lack of fillers, but they absolutely know what they’re doing, and they do it REALLY well. If you don’t give this restaurant a try, you’re doing yourself a disservice.

My roommate and I visited this restaurant for the first time, tonight, and WOW. I can’t remember our server’s name, but she was absolutely phenomenal. Greeted us promptly, provided multiple recommendations (without being pushy at all) after being told it was our first visit, and was very personable and professional.

For appetizers, we ordered the mussels (for my roommate) and mozzarella wedges (for me). We also each ordered a cup of their cream of crab soup. Our server asked if we wanted to wait until apps came before she brought our soups, because apps take longer; we said we were fine with getting our soups first. It was the BEST cream of crab soup either of us have ever had, even compared to Dutch’s Daughters’ in Frederick. It honestly blew our minds that it was THAT good. Anyone who’s reading this and has had Dutch’s Daughter’s cream of crab soup will understand. My roommate thoroughly enjoyed his mussels, and I loved the mozzarella wedges, which looked like fried grilled cheese wedges, but were somehow super light. Oh, and the table bread…sooooo good. I tried it with just butter, and dipped in the soup. Delicious both ways.

For entrees, my roommate had the crab smothered ribeye, and I had the crab stuffed flounder. Both were exceptional, and full of flavor. The steak my roommate ordered, which can be a hit or miss at a place more seafood focused, was perfectly cooked (even better than some higher end local steakhouses). I’d never had flounder before, but totally understand why reviewers speak so highly of it. I got hush puppies as my side – BEST hush puppies I’ve ever had. Roommate says they were basically corn fritters, because they had bits of corn in them. No matter what you call them, they were amazing, and I’ll be ordering them as my side every time we go.

Honestly, I’m just upset that we didn’t give this restaurant a chance sooner, because it’s now easily one of our top 3 restaurants in Hagerstown. It’s unquestionably the best seafood place around. Cannot wait to return soon, and try more dishes. I literally can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Side note: We both got desserts to go. Our server presented them on a tray to describe each one and help us make a decision. I haven’t tried my apple dumpling yet, but my roommate praised the lemon cake and said I “need to try it”, which I of course will.

This restaurant is a MUST try!

I made a decision to visit this establishment for dinner. I was craving pasta, and they had a wide variety of options to choose from on their menu, as well as mixed drinks, which was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed their margaritas, pasta, and desserts. The server was extremely helpful and courteous. I had a wonderful time here; it is undoubtedly a location where one can savor delectable cuisine.

I got the grilled chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. It was juice and not dried out. The fries had salt on them. I wish it was sugar and cinnamon. Overall, it was good. It’s a great location for seafood in Hagerstown, located near the local hospital.

Overall pleasant experience today at lunch. Service was impeccable. Atmosphere was clean and well lit. Menu had excellent selection of traditional seafood and American dishes. Good came out quickly and was cooked to our liking.

The (3) fish tacos with fries were an excellent value ($17) with good sized portion of fresh fish balanced with crunchy cabbage.

The 4oz crab cake was good with little to no filler, but @ $19.95 was not quite the value I typically look for.

Wedge salad was LOADED with blue cheese crumbles which I adore and was a larger portion than it looked, likely due to the large plate it was served on.

Would definitely go back when in the area, and likely would not make a special trip for it.

We came from out of state to visit a sick relative and were in want of a nice quiet welcoming atmosphere to regroup and have a nice meal. We found this place on Google, not far from our hotel.
The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was wonderful and the food was top notch. We ordered the strip steak and a rockfish special. Absolutely wonderful.
