Stopped by because it was on the way to where I was going and I was not disappointed one bit. They have a wide variety of locally roasted coffee beans in many flavors but I was looking for a hot drink today.
I enjoyed the Chai tea with honey, oat milk and a double shot of espresso. It was delicious! Not too sweet and loved the spice. My hubs sipped on a mocha with peppermint and also liked his choice.
Cute spot with lounge areas and a few books. We couldn’t hang today but I would totally come back and spend some time here.

Schuil’s is an absolute must for anyone who is a coffee lover. They offer a wide array of coffee beans from non-flavored to flavored and cycle through seasonal blends. Quality whole bean coffee is harder to come by these days and if you’re in that market, you need to make sure to stop by. I absolutely love that all their beans come in standard and decaf options as some people want to drink coffee later at night without having to worry about sleep. My favorite flavor blends come in the spring when they offer pistachio, strawberries and cream, and the absolute best (which they need to start offering year round) vanilla lavender. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program if you consistently buy coffee, after you get so many pounds, you’ll get a free one on the house!

Easily the best coffee company in Grand Rapids. Prices are great, and there’s loads of different flavors to choose from. The coffee beans here are fresh and I’ve made this a weekly staple in my routine. I’ve tried beans from all over the city and nothing matches Schuils quality. Bonus points to the helpful and friendly staff as they answer any questions I might have about their beans. Can’t say enough good things about this cafe.

Schuil has some of the best coffee in the Grand Rapids area. Their list is almost overwhelming! I’ve yet to have one that I didn’t like. Seasonal beverages are creative and never too sweet. There is a small selection of food, which is a nice touch. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant.

If you want an ab-Schuil-utely wonderful cup of coffee, head over to Schuil Coffee! They have a wide variety of coffee flavors that can be regular or decaf. I have not personally had their drinks prepared there but what I make at home is delicious! The staff members are always friendly, nice and happy to prepare my order. It is a great place to stop for all of your coffee needs!

Absolutely lovely. Schuil has quickly become a favorite cafe! Such a cozy comforting feel. Aromatic. Great for studying or meeting a friend. A barista recommended a strawberry matcha latte and although their entire menu is inventive and delicious, I have become loyal to strawberry matchas. 10/10 recommendation!!

It was a quiet little coffee shop. My friend and I sat here to talk this afternoon for hours. It was typically quiet in the backroom but we could hear the door opening frequently. They have a large whole bean collection and a few decent non-coffee options. I would come back here again.

The coffee (dark roast, French press) was delicious, the homemade-like donut was delicious, the service was excellent, the seating and ambiance is comfortable and welcoming. And at $6 for my 16 oz and giant donut, it was better priced than most other specialty roasters in the Grand Rapids greater area (whos coffee doesn’t come close to as good as this place’s).
