These are the greatest burgers and fries ive ever had. Not only are there options for single, double, triple and quadruple patties but, they are all so tasty! I recommend this place and will definitely return again. Although the price is high, well worth it for taste.

We stopped here on our way into Indiana from Chicago and would love to go back again. Everything we had was super tasty – we ordered hot dogs, onion rings, a shake, and the Irish nachos (the nachos came in a huge portion!). My only regret is that we couldn’t eat more haha. The service was also great – super fast, really friendly, and also quite helpful. I was brought a to-go cup for my drink when I didn’t finish it before I even had to ask!

Food is well portioned and tasty for the price. The wall paintings are old-school and inviting. Service is no frills but not unfriendly. We had a good time here.

First time ever in Schoops Hamburgers, I loved the theme and decoration although the carpet could’ve used a detailing and vacuum. The customer service was excellent she was extremely sweet, patient and soft she kept asking if we were okay, if the food was good I appreciate that! I rated Schoop’s 4 stars only because everything is rung up separately. The burgers come by themselves with no fries everything is extra. Usually you could get a burger with fries and bacon for $12-15. Schoops double burgers were $17-18 just for a sandwich. Overall it was great.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with a small French fry which cost $13.35. The bun was burnt, and the lettuce were old & wilted. When I returned the food, INSTEAD OF APOLOGIZING FIRST, I was told “well that’s just how our lettuce look right now” and then when I said the bun shouldn’t be burnt like this, she (the manager) shrugged her shoulders like oh well. After I said, “there is no way that you should even attempt to justify this” the manger then she said “I’m going to give you a refund” as if she was doing me a favor! After attempts to justify, & efforts to make me excited to receive a refund, the manager finally apologized; however, the damage had been done. I love their turkey burgers, but I will never order another grilled chicken sandwich from them again, and I’m sure I won’t be back for a Turkey burger until next year.

The dining area carpet is kind of sticky, but otherwise the tables and seating are clean and the bathrooms are extremely clean. The staff are lovely, and the burgers and french fries are fantastic—exactly what you want if you’re looking for an old-school burger joint.

Schoop’s is an old school place to eat. It’s not fancy or changes it’s menu to jump on a fad. It makes good burgers, fries and shakes. The burgers are large smash burgers so the meat is bigger than the bun. This is not your usual McDonald’s size burger. They have locations in the Chicago area and are worth the drive.

My band had been traveling the area, and we had a taste for fresh burgers. However, we wished we had worked more gigs because Schoop’s is stadium level money and not corner bar money. I ordered a burger and a large fry (keep in mind they don’t have meals these were separate) and my bill was at 15 dollars. While the burger is handmade and delicious, the fries were nothing special…”Freezer fries” if you will. I dined out and the wait was a little over 5 minutes. If you visit, be prepared to open the wallet.

Used coupon immediately got attitude from management. Coupon applied to lowest priced item instead of equal value and had to cancel items to get the deal.. Double cheese was short cheese, lettuce, and short on condiments. Meet had small gristle and was thick and slightly undercooked. I’ve earned dozens of loyalty burgers but will not use this location. Stick with Indiana locations.

We ordered takeout and got a bacon cheeseburger. Charging three dollars and 50 Cent for bacon and you don’t put it on the hamburger? Just like all these other RESTAURANT INDUSTRY CROOKS! We live 30 miles away and considered this a treat. At least McDonald’s doesn’t charge you for things they don’t give you
