Wood oven pizza, authentic Schnitzel’s & spaetzle , salads, deserts…. You can’t go wrong. It’s truly a gem of a restaurant in a fun and lively atmosphere. The food is top notch but the service is even better. In a time when service is in a severe decline, this place stands out from the rest. From the hostess’s, wait
Staff and bartenders to the management
Staff they make you feel that they’re happy to have you there. They’re the friendliest, courteous and fun staff that I’ve encountered in any restaurant in a very long time!
Try them out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Great food, lively atmosphere and stellar staff!
Lovely ambiance, comfy booths. Drinks menu is full of great options, go for the root beer if you need your daily dose of sugar!
Appetizer we got deep fried pickles and a Caesar salad, pickles were breaded with dill and it was crunchy perfection. Salad had a really good dressing and fresh bacon.
I got the German platter, eyes bigger than my stomach. Massive portion, I ate barely half of everything and still have a ton leftover. Except the spatzle, not a piece left behind!
My mom got a good portion for the regular plate, and we still brought a chunk home!
Their online menu is mobile friendly; it is easy navigate and read. The restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol.
There is plenty of free parking in the nearby mall parking lot that is a two minute walk to the restaurant or alternatively there is paid street parking.
There is a large patio out front with ample seating.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean but more attention needs to be paid to the ceiling vents where layers of dust can been seen on top of them; it was obvious they were not cleaned in weeks if not months.
Teena, our server, was friendly and service was quick.
The Ceasar salad with house made dressing was absolutely delicious and worth getting.
The Wood Oven Baked Brie was perfectly cooked. The triple berry compote with crushed walnuts, served with herb oil pita was sweet but very tasty.
The Classic Trio Plate – Chicken, Pork and Cheese schnitzels were cooked perfectly and seasoned on point. I had the red cabbage side, which is on the sweet side, but still very tasty.
The Fish and Chips – Beer battered haddock, fried to golden brown and served with fresh cut fries and tartar sauce. This was excellent. The fish was tender and well cooked and the fries were crispy and well seasoned. The tartar sauce that was served alongside was delicious as well.
The WOOD FIRED PIZZA – Meat Lovers is prepared in the middle of the restaurant where the wood fire oven is located. Being a pizza lover, I can say it was perfectly cooked. The pepperoni, ground beef, bacon and Oktoberfest sausage were perfectly and equally distributed throughout the pizza. If you love pizza you will definitely enjoy this wood fire pizza.
This restaurant has a large outdoor patio, which is adjacent to Pitt St.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and experience and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others and will definitely be returning.
Our server was amazing and on top of everything the rest of the time.
Will definitely slide by again next time in Cornwall.
We tried wood oven baked brie and wood fire Margherita pizza.
Both items tasted pretty good but the pizza crust was a bit dry.
Next time I will try their classic schnitzel
Beside that I ordered onion soap which was good as an appetizer. The cream brulee was not special, so I do not recommend it. The Beef Golush was not really my taste,I did not like the spices.
