My experience at this Schlotzsky was sub par. We generally enjoy their sandwiches. I decided to stray from my favorite as I love what is called a French Dip Sandwich. The sourdough “bun” was fine but I was very disappointed in the insides of the sandwich and what was supposed to be Au jus. I was having trouble taking a bite without dragging the roast beef out too- it was gristly and had a lot of fat. The amount of meat would have been satisfactory had it been edible. I also had trouble ID’ing the cheese.
I ate the bread, gave my dog the meat and threw away the Au Jus.
I have been to this location in the daytime and never had trouble so not sure of the cause. I also eat at the one off of Bell/Whitestone which is where I purchased a special that is the next issue I encountered
Then there was problem #2. Schlotzsky had a Thank you day (I believe Dec. 5 th and they had a Special Offer where you bought a pack of Cinnabons and received a card to use to get Buy 1 Get 1 Free as often as every 7 days for a whole year!!!! So I bought the Cinnabon’s and one of the team at the Bell/Whitestone location helped me register my code. I should of used it that night as I also picked up dinner there but the person ringing me up didn’t know how to use the code and I’d already had a pretty long wait at the counter. (You had to go into the property to obtain the card with the code & buy the cinnamon rolls.)
So I opted not to start over again and figured I’d just use it the next time, (and there was only 1 employee where I obtained and was given info on the promotion – and she (with the patience of a saint) spent more than 40” explain it several times to a gentleman that had trouble processing how it all is supposed to work.
Once you have your code you can use it in store OR online……..at least that’s what I was told and read -and the app is set up to be able to use the code in an offer area. Anyway – you guessed it. Didn’t work online but I went ahead with my order and figured I’d have the person at Schlotzsky help me.
Well-wrong again. She had no idea what I was talking about. I was frustrated so I took our meals and left. Another disappointment.
I’m down about $20 in sandwiches and $40 in Cinnabon. I should have it in my pocket. I feel like I’ve been scammed. I’m going to try to reach out to their headquarters and see what I can do about this.
In the meanwhile, I would definitely recommend you try anything but the beef sandwich should you eat there.

I was low on money and wanted something filling. So I got their small Mac n cheese. I got about halfway through when I took a bite and there was a good chunk of plastic in there. Instantly spit out my food. They gave me a refund, but I won’t be back. Would have done 2 stars if the customer service was better tbh.

I used to love Schlotzsky’s and often frequented for a quick lunch. Unfortunately, the food value has consistently been disappointing. Is this really what I should come to expect as advertised vs actual now? A couple thin slices of meat is the standard? How is this even legal to be so misleading? This is not the first time either. Just the first time I’ve finally said something about it. We should not accept this kind of false advertising. (The only thing I changed was no onions)

Menu (4/5)
Our recent visit to Schlotzsky’s in Cedar Park was a pleasant and satisfying experience that met our expectations. We ordered the California Chicken Avocado Flat, the Chicken Avocado Salad, and a Kids’ Pizza, and each dish delivered on taste and quality. The California Chicken Avocado Flat was a delightful blend of flavors, with tender chicken and creamy avocado. The Chicken Avocado Salad was equally impressive, with its generous portion of chicken and vibrant salad greens. The Kids’ Pizza was simple.

Service (4/5):
The service at Schlotzsky’s was efficient and friendly. Our orders were taken promptly, and the staff was attentive to our needs. Our meals were prepared in a timely manner, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience without unnecessary delays.

Ambiance (3/5):
While Schlotzsky’s may not be known for its upscale ambiance, it provides a casual and comfortable setting for a quick and satisfying meal. The clean and well-maintained dining area offered a pleasant environment to enjoy our food.

Very nice place. They have good sandwiches and great pizza. I always get their vegetarian pizza. Their pizzas are very light because they are made on sourdough bread. Their sandwiches are good too. They also have plenty of seating and the restaurant itself is really cool. They are very friendly too.

I went to this location with my young daughter, we ordered at 8:51pm and were the only people in the drive thru. I could see the order screen, we were the only order to be made. The guy handed me my drink and then walked away to start cleaning/closing down the store. It’s not even 9pm and he’s started shutting down an hour early. I sit in my car for 25 minutes before I finally realize they’ve forgotten about me, my food has been sitting there just waiting to be handed to me, and I finally honk to get their attention. Another guy comes from the back, says nothing at all but hands me my food and closes the window. I got down and asked for a receipt so that I could call and speak to someone about my experience. I called the store and of course no one answers and their voicemail has never been set up. I use schlotzsskys all the time for large orders on game days, but this situation and the lack of care has rubbed me the wrong way. I definitely won’t be coming back to this location!

The absolute worst Schlotzsky’s I’ve ever been to and this is has been a consistent experience of mine which is the worst part. No gluten free dough available ever. No chicken available. I mean it’s just the worst experience especially for dietary restrictions and the price you pay for mid MID food.

I could tell the minute I pulled up to the drive thru this was going to be a bad experience. This is the first time I’ve gotten bad service and bad quality of food from this location.
The girl that took my order could not be any more obvious that she did not want to be there. I politely made my order. When I asked for a kids meal cheese pizza she said “we can’t do that right now.” No other explanation, so I asked if they could do a grilled cheese and she confirmed that they could. I also asked for my sandwich with no lettuce, attached is a picture of my sandwich, they forgot the no lettuce part and also the toasting of the sandwich. It was really dry and bland tasting. I checked my order before I left and noticed they did not give me a drink or side with my kids meal. I pulled in to park and walked in the restaurant. The unpleasant young lady who did not want to be there came to the counter. I told her I didn’t get a drink or side with my kids meal. She said “You didn’t ask for a drink and a side!” I told her, “No, you didn’t ask.” I asked for a coke and a cookie. She begrudgingly got both for me and I was on my way.
I make this review because this is not the level of service anyone should come to expect from this establishment or any for that matter. This girl simply did not want to be there and it showed with her service and general attitude. This is not the right direction, we as a society, should be going and accepting because of a “workforce shortage”. Take pride in your work and who you’re working for and representing.
