I have been a loyal customer of this bakery for years, and my son absolutely loves their cookies. This morning he asked for a Ramadan cookie, so when I came in, I politely asked the owner if she planned on offering any Ramadan-themed cookies this month. She said she didn’t know what Ramadan was, so I briefly explained. She then stated that while she has done moon and star designs for custom orders, it was “not something for the store.” The way this was said came across as dismissive, rude, and offensive—especially considering that this bakery regularly celebrates and sells items for other holidays. It made me feel that Ramadan was being treated as less valid or not worthy of recognition, which was deeply disappointing and made me feel discriminated against as a customer and today will be the last day I enter this bakery.

Mom and Pop style bakery with a variety of sweet and savory goodies. We tried their cookie assortment, some cheese bagels as well as a Neopolitan and Bee Sting. All were delicious and ver more-ish.
What i also enjoyed was both the service – super efficient and friendly as well as the chatter in the queue between people waiting. It made the time pass faster.
We will definitely go back – this is an absolute gem of a bakery.

Such a fun place! I like coming in the Spring especially when they have Hamentaschen and bunny cakes. The cookies are always wonderful. For the small ones you pay by the pound so you can mix and match. The cakes are really great too, you can preorder a specially decorated one for birthdays, etc.

Omg first time here and love everything about this place. Was overwhelmed with all the options didnt know what I wanted. The cheese Danish was phenomenal. Definitely returning. Also bonus points for the staff being so bright and vibrant bringing a positive energy to the room.

High-quality cake slices. For me, it’s too expensive for what you get. One medium-sized cake slice runs $8-$10. Other high-quality bakeries in area like North Shore Kosher bakery that have an equally impressive variety for half the price. Parking could be easier, too!

food tastes stale, when i went in, the person at the front said that she forgot to close the place and made us feel very rushed, she is nice but i wish i had just left when she said she forgot to close. pastries are very overpriced. there are much better options across the chicagoland area.
