I have been coming to Schatzi’s for a little over a year now, and usually the food is stellar. The Thursday wings, in particular, are a favorite among my friends and I. Tonight for dinner I had spanakopita, pierogies, and a reuben. The spanakopita was divine – flaky crust, delicious filling. However delicious the food tonight was, the service was not the best. I have never had this experience here before so it may have been an off day, but it definitely detracted from the experience slightly. Overall, I recommend this place for delicious food and drinks.

one of the best fish tacos i’ve ever had! my friends tried the burgers and they were flavor bombs too!!! the staff are WONDERFUL and they handled a tricky situation we had today very reasonably 🙂

Haven’t been in a few years, admittedly, but it feels like quality has dropped off since then. The pretzel bun is still enjoyable, but seemed a bit less flavorful. The rest of the burger was still great, but the regular fries, sweet potato fries, and even the iced tea I ordered were all pretty bland.

Schatzi’s is always a good choice when you’re in Poughkeepsie. The food is fresh and delicious and they also have a good drink menu. I always end up ordering the shcatzi burger and it does not disappoint.

Cool vibe, friendly service and a great beer selection. The kitchen staff are the real stars here, pumping out tasty and filling dishes from a space smaller than most people’s closets. Food was flavorful and fresh, with quality ingredients and great portions for the price. The easily accessible parking across the street is a bonus!

We hadn’t been to Shatzi’s for a while but since a beautiful Friday night decided to visit their outdoor beer garden. It took longer to find parking then to get a table, since we were seated right away and service was prompt. Everything we ordered was outstanding! I had the pork carnitas tacos and my significant other had the beef brisket tacos and we shared the sweet beets and greens salad, a generous size dish. So delicious. As usual great beer choices. I can’t wait to go back soon.
