This restaurant is an oldie but they’re consistent. I always order the same thing when I go. A slice and cheese fries. Over the years, the prices have most definitely gone up, but the quality of the food has not changed. It’s the same thing I was paying a few bucks less for a few years ago. I get it, inflation blah blah blah. And as you can see from the receipt, they now charge a non-cash fee, which is crazy. I spent over $10. Why do I have a fee? The fee is ridiculous.

Ok been a customer as far as I can remember always served a great beef with hot peppers. Last week after hanging out At Hawthorne Watching final 4 decided to grab a bit to eat. A large pizza a beef a large fries and a couple modeló’s to end the night excellent pizza well worth the wait 30 min meanwhile enjoying a couple cold beers.

Good as promised! We tried the beefs and combos in the 3 main styles: dry, dipped and baptized. The beef slices were generous, well seasoned and cooked; the sausage flavor is delicious and did not overwhelmed the beef nor bun. Going in, I was open minded to their “giardiniera” which is their traditional style and i was not surprised but was not satisfied. Lastly, the atmosphere is good, clean and ample. The restaurant has a adjoining gaming area where it looks like a lot of indigents hang around, that may make it seem not family-friendly.

The restaurant is new, nice and clean. The service seemed fine when I went. Friendly and brief just like most beef joints. The beef itself was average. I was surprised how small it was. They do slice the beef thin and provide a good amount of beef in the sandwich. However the beef seemed just ok, sweet peppers lacked flavor. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t great. The fries were large but well undercooked.

My family and I just went here 7/26/23 around 7pm and they fell completely off. I didn’t know it til we got home and ate the nasty food! I was pissed! The Italian beef tasted like some chopped up dog food or something! I used to go here for years prior to the pandemic. I had no idea that they stopped caring about how their food tasted. The pizza was unseasoned and nasty also. Thumbs down just horrible food but friendly service!
