Scardino’s Pizza in La Puente is amazing. The chicken and mushroom pizza is so good I came back two weeks in a row. It’s a little pricey, but the quality makes it totally worth it. Way better than Pizza Hut or Domino’s. Highly recommend if you love real, flavorful pizza.

The best pizza I habe ever had glad I grew up in La Puente. I have overnightes pizza to friends and family in other states from here. Pizza in NY cant touch scardinos and comparing any other pizza to scardinos pizza is extreamly unfair to the other pizza as its in a class of its own. When I was a kid I remember one of the older italian owners at a grocery store complaining to tge manager that the freshness and quality of one of the I’m ingredients was not fresh or quality enough. I dont recall exactly. But I knew when I grew up to own a business I would be that crazy about quality. This is a family own and ran business and I cant express what this place and the food means to our community. We are so very lucky to have them! You have never lived until you have had scardinos pizza or tried one of everything on the menu and I mean this from the bottom of my soul. -SGV

Ownership has changed !! What a shame, not the same. I’ve been coming here since the 80’s came back today, it’s just not the same. Sandwiches were smaller will less meat and meatballs that were just dumped in tomato sauce , and not an Italian in sight they were always here I thought it was wierd that the owners weren’t there I had never been there and not seen at least on of them. Sorry to see an end of an era.
Rest in peace Leo Scardino and his great masterpiece! Thank you and your family for decades of excellent food! Food is now ok, but not the excellent quality we were used to for decades.
Moved away 20+ years ago and would come by when I would visit for my favorite Scardino treats. It was great … honestly I am a bit sad but all things must come to an end. Leo died years ago, and I believe his nephew continued the business I think he may have retired and sold the business.
Leo’s picture and memorabilia is still on the walls which was cool to see.

Pep with cheese great price. Taste actually like homemade. No fancy no made up names just pizza. So just eat… Loved it sandwiches look great. First photo was thin crust. The second one was thick crust also manicotti is really good. Prefer the thick crust with a side of ranch dressing for dipping

Not big place but like it immediately when I stepped in. Every order is fresh made. Like the family cooking feeling. I felt like back to home kitchen when I saw the old man hand making pizza bread. Lovely feel and tasty food. My dessert-Cannoli is really rich. I will come back again!

I have been come to Scardino’s Pizza more 20 years plus enjoy their pizza,pasta and especially their sandwiches. One of my favorite is the Super Torpedo one best sandwich they ever have it have so much flavors it’s are to describe the lair of flavor in the sandwich. I really enjoy their slice pizza especially the cheese pizza another favorite item at Scardino’s since I first try it.

Tried meatball/sausage sandwich, it was a good sandwich, perfectly toasted roll, sauce cheese and meats went together well.
Chef salad with Italian dressing was also done right.
