Scab’s Place has been a fantastic partner for Northern Transcon Railcams – Otter Tail Channel (@NTR-OTC) over the past few years. They host two of our cameras on the BNSF St. Croix Subdivision in Prescott, WI, and their contribution has been instrumental in our efforts.
The staff at Scab’s Place are incredibly friendly and always make you feel welcome. Their hospitality adds a personal touch to the entire experience. Additionally, Scab’s Place offers live music and entertainment, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.

Fun & Friendly! Lots of locals and lots of visitors. On a hot summer night, grab a table on their awesome patio and order their pizza, lots of icy cold beers and enjoy the beautiful view of the St Croix river while listening to the local talent. By the way… Service is great – Bartender Peggy is a HOOT! 5 stars!

Never have I ever seen a cleaner bar. This place was spotless!! There wasn’t even a crumb on the floor!!! They had a great patio too! We went and saw a FABULOUS band called Blue Steel. Talk about great talent. It was too bad there weren’t more people there. They don’t have food there, just pizzas. I’ll definitely go back though!

Very clean bar with friendly staff, drinks are reasonably priced. They have amazing beef jerky for only $2 that I highly recommend. Service is quick and friendly. With everything combined plus an ATM, slot machines and music box, coupled with the view from the back deck makes this a wonderful bar to go to for a fun time

Scabs is a special kind of townie bar that we’ve grown to love after becoming boaters at a nearby marina a few years ago.
There are a few good bartenders at Scabs, but Shawna is our favorite and has quickly become a friend of so many of us boaters who stop in every weekend throughout the summer.
Her sassy attitude always makes our stops at Scabs hilariously entertaining and she makes a great Bloody Mary as well. The lady works harder than anybody I know and we appreciate that she’s always making sure we don’t go thirsty before a refill.
If you’re looking for food, I hear they make a good burger on the deck in the summer and you can’t beat the price or the river views.
There’s also a weekly meat raffle that has some incredible choices, all from Ptacek’s IGA up the road, along with live music on the weekends.
What more could a guy or gal ask of their favorite dive bar?!

This is a cool little inexpensive bar in town that has pizza and some snacks(chips and such) life bands and djs on the weekends. Bartenders are friendly.
