What a great option to have here in East Hill and downtown Pensacola. The quality of the food at Lucky Dough is impressive. If you haven’t eaten naturally leavened pizza dough you are in for a treat. Using sourdough to make the pies gives it a completely different texture and taste. AP who owns the place and loves his craft puts his heart into it. The sauce is high quality DOP San Marzano tomatoes along with many of the other ingredients on the pies. My personal favorite was the Murghuratta made with stracciatella cheese and fresh basil. Give them a try and give yourself a new experience and support this local business and food spot. I think you will agree it’s very good.

OMG this pizza is out of the world, I’m so glad I was able to catch lucky dough down town for once. I absolutely love the different dough style and I hope more people will get to visit this place. I admire the owner, the concept and I also hope Gaby’s spot is a hit for this spring/summer!

This is incredible pizza and you should definitely go there, period.
I have a seven thousand dollar wood fired pizza oven at my own home and I love making pizzas. I am a little bit of a dough nerd, so I came in with high expectations. Lucky Dough far exceeded them.
The pizza was excellent, cooked perfectly, and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. The dough was outstanding, everything you want from a proper wood fired pie. The place was spotless and the employees were super nice.
Highly recommend Lucky Dough. This was a great experience from start to finish and one of the best pizzas I have ever had.

This place is incredible. Neapolitan type pizza on white or red with great ingredients. They make natural organic quality food that doesn’t make you feel bad afterwards. Service and staff are very friendly. Outdoor atmosphere with space heaters and a bar was the cherry on top. Many places to grab a slice downtown, this place just taste authentic

Finally some great pizza in Pensacola! Having grown up in Chicago, pizza is very important to me. Lucky Dough Pizza is a 10/10. Everything is top notch – from the sourdough crust to the pizza sauce to the toppings. Clearly fresh and well-sourced. The service is great despite what some other reviewers have written – come on, they just opened and are learning how to cater to a larger audience!

Pizza is awesome here! You can tell the ingredients are top quality and love the char on the crust to give it that extra crisp. The buffalo mozzarella is delicious and the staff is super friendly. I’d venture to say it’s the best Neapolitan pizza in Pensacola. Very nice location as well.

This is some GOOD pizza! You can majorly taste the difference from most pizza places, these are fresh ingredients, cooked just right. They get the char perfect, the dough is some of the best I’ve had, sauce is tangy and fresh, good herbs and cheese. The staff is so friendly and thoughtful! Do yourself a favor and try this pizza out. Oh and the olive appetizer with seasoned oil with orange peel – damn that’s good! Thanks for bringing good food to downtown Pensacola!

The pizza was incredible. Best pizza I’ve had in Pensacola. My mom and I visited & split a pizza and it was seriously the best dough/crust ever. I’m still thinking about it! The ingredients on the pizza were so fresh and tasted so good, and I could tell right away how quality and fresh everything was prepared and cooked so well. They definitely care about the food they are serving here. Absolutely worth the hype & I will be coming back here when I visit next and bringing my sister! Also the staff was super nice and accommodating, and we had great conversation with the bartender and got to know more about the story of lucky dough! Highly recommend checking this place out.

I reached out to the owner to inquire about vegan options and they have the og vegan pizza on the menu— Pizza Marinara. Yes it’s pricey for what just seems like dough, tomato sauce, basil, and garlic but it’s worth it! I lived in Naples, Italy for 10+ years and this is the best pizza I’ve had stateside… ever. The place was also super clean despite the seating being outside and the service was great.
