The pizza is surprisingly delicious. We came to Washington as tourists from Philadelphia, and unfortunately, we haven’t yet found good tasty pizza in Philadelphia. But in Washington, at the train station, the Sbarro pizza chain pleasantly surprised us with amazing pizza. Other prepared dishes were tasty too. Prices are reasonable. No complaints about the food — everything was great. The only issue was hygiene. While we were eating, a cockroach crawled along the wall.

Quick here and a lot of choices. The pizza is good as is the hot food but a little expensive- especially when they are weighing pastas and sauces. The lemon chicken is my favorite and is really good when it is fresh! They have both round and aware pizza but the Square is not really that thick. There is not a lot of seating here and sometimes it appears a little messy. There are healthy choices including salad and fruit which are on the food bar.

I was greeted by Carlos who was busy prepping when I walked into the Sbarro. The selection on breakfast menu items was listed. It was a nice healthy selection so I ordered eggs, potatoes and a biscuit.I’m vegetarian. I was asked if i was dining in or taking out.The food well done was placed into an aluminum pan and given to me on a tray as I chose to dine in. The price was a bit costly I added an apple juice and my total was 9.44. If it was not for the great customer service I would have walked out but food is expensive anyway so I had no problem paying. The quality of the food was what I expected and it was a pretty decent breakfast as I was feeling a bit sick before consumption and it helped make me feel better

The complete Breakfast bowel for $6.49 is excellent. The food was served hot, with crispy bacon and moist, hot potatoes.

The pizza at Sbarro is probably the best pizza I have ever had, but the price point does make me take it down a star. Though it is a better price point than other establishments at Union Station, it still is a bit pricey for what you are getting. Granted, it is in Washington D.C, so it’s probably the location that makes it expensive.

I stopped at Sbarro at Union Station to get something to eat while waiting on a Marc train. I purchased a slice of pizza and a beverage. I already had a beverage from Starbucks as well. After eating my slice of pizza I left my beverages and tray on the table while I went to purchase another slice of pizza. When I turned around, the cashier had taken both drinks and the tray and disposed of the beverages. When I went to pay for the new slice of pizza i requested a complimentary drink since mine got thrown away. The African man that threw my items away told me I would have to pay. He stated that once you get up from your table, the items are thrown away and that I would have to pay for another drink. I pleaded with him, and he refused, so I did not purchase the second slice of pizza and told him that his customer service was less than professional. I plan to dispute the original charge to my card as I Ioss a $4 drink and a $5 drink from Starbucks.

We were coming home from NYC and had a brief layover in DC while Amtrak switched out its engines. I ran into the station and was able to quickly grab dinner for 6 of us. The staff, Mary, was kind, helpful and made sure that we got the most food for our money. Mary’s warm smile and quick service made ensured that I was able to get back on the train before it headed out for Roanoke. Everyone enjoyed the food and the next time we come back from NYC we will make this run again.
