Great spot. Asked them for a custom drink knowing their coffee and horchata (home made) were good. It came out better than expected combined. Great spot when in area.

First time in a centroamerican place.
Simple details you don’t expect in this kind of place food knowledge, not expensive and nice people. Thank you!

Got cheated by this place. They told me lunch special comes with a soda so I asked if I can get a water bottle instead since I don’t drink soda. The manager said yes of course. But when I got the bill at the end of my meal I was charged $1.50 for the water. I questioned the waitress and I said that I thought water was included and she said water doesn’t come with lunch. Maybe there was miscommunication between the two workers but they didn’t talk about it and fix it. Therefore, I paid for a water bottle that I would have never gotten if they had told me I would be charged because I brought my own water.
On the food, the rice was kind of hard and unenjoyable. I told the manager and asked if I could get an extra tortilla and she brought me one which i appreciated. Fortunately I wasn’t charged for that as well.
The inside of the restaurant is nice but the bathroom floor had urine all over the floor in front of the toilet and the sink is behind the toilet so you have to reach around the toilet to wash your hands

This is the best place in Yonkers for Central American food. We love the pupusas, baleadas, and pollo con tajadas. They staff is very kind and friendly. And the food is absolutely delicious! I also quite like their flan! And a gift store for Central American snacks like Zambos!

My family and I are completely dissatisfied with this restaurant because we arrived to eat, they took a long time to serve us, and the food was terrible. There was even a long hair in my food, and they still charged us for the meal, which I obviously didn’t want. It wasn’t even edible. That’s why I’m giving them one star. Besides that, we had a tiny Chihuahua puppy with us, and they told us that if we wanted to eat inside, we would have to tie him to a tree outside!

We’re regulars at this restaurant. We ordered food one time and lemons they gave us were no so good so as my right as a customer I call the restaurant to give a complain because at that point that’s food quality. Come to find out the owner answered and her attitude and customer service was terrible. She was rude and very unprofessional be advised when you go here.

A bit of a hole in the wall, but definitely worth a stop. Very authentic food and everything is cooked fresh and made to order. No dedicated parking outside. They have take out service and also candies/junk food that you need to try inside. Would definitely come back

Very simple, but nice and tasty food .
We had breakfast, chicken tamales, and some dessert.
I love good tea, unfortunately they do not offer nice black tea only Lipton, and I hate it.
I will come back again.

Food: Delicious and well seasoned, great portions as shown, and freshly made food. Pupusas were so delicious that even my picky toddler ate them!

Prices: We spent ~$40 for two entrees, a plate of 4 pupusas, and drinks. Great prices!

Location: no frills location with little to no decor on walls.

Service: our waitress was attentive and checked in often without annoying us 🙂

Would I recommend? Definitely!
