Very authentic Honduran food. Definitely reminds me of home. The food tasted great and the portions were big.

Although I have eaten the cuisine of South America, I had not tried Honduran. This restaurant was that effort. I had one item that really didnt appeal to my wife or I and it was the stuffed plantain. It was stuffed with refried beans and crumbled cheese (like feta) on top. Neither of us cared for it. The other items seemed more like thick breads stuffed. They were okay but nothing that grabbed us. The waitress was struggling with English but fortunately I can speak some Spanish. Not a bad experience but not sure was this true Honduran and therefore not a real culinary experience or just an off restaurant.

We stopped by Sazón Catracho and had a great experience! My son ordered the Zambos Preparados and said they were absolutely delicious—super fresh and full of flavor. I had black beans and plantains, and everything was well-prepared and tasty. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was spotless. You can really feel the pride they put into their food and service. We’ll definitely be back!

I had an amazing experience at Sazón Catracho! The baleadas were absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and super authentic. You can really taste the care and tradition that goes into the food here. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Honduran food!

The ladies that work here are very friendly and definitely cook their food with love. I’m Nicaraguan and have family in Honduras so I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of their food, after avoiding this restaurant because of the reviews. I will 100% be coming back to try their baleadas. Today I tried their pineapple refresco & fried chicken with plantains and salad on top. I loved this dish of theirs. Very happy I finally stopped by, I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you!

The place was clean, no other customers other than us and one other table.

The food was ok, not the best but it could also be because half of the menu items were not available:

Selection was limited. Would not recommend and won’t be back either.

Staff was nice!

I have never had Honduran food before but my sister has been to Honduras. So like anyone, I texted her what I should order and she dropped an entire list without even looking at the menu: Baleadas with extra Crema, Tajadas, Plátanos Maduros, the list goes on… after reading the menu and speaking to the owners, I chose the Mixed Baleadas.

It takes a little time because they make it all to order nothing is precooked. Also I heard that nothing is “bought” it’s all made from scratch, giving it that “home made” feel that you only get from eating your mother’s cooking. They were so good that I forgot to take a picture…

Some would describe the dish as Honduran quesadilla. It was a large portion of 2. I got beef and a friend got chicken and we swapped one of each. This thing was so delicious! You cannot compare it to a Mexican quesadilla. Tortilla taste totally different. More bready like a pita. It had beans inside and the mixture with pickled onions and crema was bursting with flavor! I am not a big beans person but there was definitely something different about this mixture that made it addicting!

I would come back again!
