Found this cute spot on Google search for wine places in my vicinity. This place has cozy and chill vibes! Great ambiance!
The bar/restaurant located in a corky and eclectic neighborhood walking distance to Rockaway Beach.
The place has indoor and outdoor dining.
The music was at a good volume where you can sit and have great conversation.
The waitress was professional, friendly and attentive.
Love the setup of this place it has an authentic charm about it.
They serve tapas to enjoy with your libations.
There is an array of wine to choose from.
We decided to do the wine sampler
Food:
Humus with pita, meatballs, soft pretzels,
Turkey sliders and grilled cheese sandwich
Dessert: lemon pound cake
Great place for a date, friends and family.
Parking is scarce because it’s a busy location with restaurants and the Rockaway Beach is walking distance.

First of all I feel like I didn’t know my community. Sayra’s has been a staple in the community for over 10 years. This wonderful tapas bar is heavenly! There’s shaded outdoor seating too.
We ordered quite an array of food off the menu and everything was delicious!

I love this spot! Low key, chill, romantic, and relaxing music. We come here often after a friend recommended it, and it’s truly amazing. The wine is good and the tapas of bread and sides is delicious. I love them for being consistent and having excellent service.
They also have a selection of canned beer at great prices and a happy hour if that’s your thing.
It’s an intimate space and that’s what makes it special every time.
Highlights are the baguette with balsamic and olive oil, and the sangria was excellent!

I love this place in the summer so much, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite with a friend drink some wine and talk. Bring a group of friends even. The food is delicious, The drink selections are great. The inside is also amazing so actually anytime of the year would be a good time to visit. Can’t wait to be back, one of rockaways Best.

Amazing. I didn’t think to write about it on google, but my friend and I were totally blown away by the place and people 12 years ago in its beginnings. My friend loves wine and loved the ones in Sayra’s Wine Bar. But that’s not all: it was at the wake of her 40th Birthday. She went to washroom, and when she came out, everybody, starting from staff and ending with all clients, sang “Happy Birthday” to her.
During the couple of hours we spent there, we heard about how it was built from hurricane wood, and were watching pictures of owners and their family and friends surfing nearby in costumes for Halloween.

This place was very cozy and different. The hostess was very nice and the service was very good. Honestly the selection of food wasn’t that large, but everything we ordered was exceptionally good! Unfortunately they were out of the Turkey meatballs, but word on the street is that they are excellent! My son ordered the grill cheese, which was really good and even good visually. Everything was very classy and well done. I included pictures of the front of the restaurant, because if you’re not careful, you might pass right by it. The prices weren’t high, but they weren’t low either, so they were what you would expect for a quality meal. I definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be going back, very soon.

Love this spot. Weekday happy hour means $10 glasses of wine before 8pm and the bartender was so friendly. It seems like a real neighborhood hangout, and their backyard is large and beautiful! I’ll definitely be back after a beach day.

The light fare menu is tasty. I usually get the turkey burgers, meatballs, or the fantastic cheese plate. The back yard garden area is very tranquil and relaxing. It is a quiet little didden gem in the Rockaway community. Nice for a relaxing evening and the owner is fantastic and proud member of the community….❤

They charged us automatic gratuity for 2 people. Didn’t realize that was a thing for a small group. Cheese board was mediocre at best not worth the money and service was no where near the level of gratuity they took.
