What’s worse was that there was hardly any meat in the wraps. I ordered the gyro, and you can see by the photo that there was maybe one or two strips of meat. They made it appear big, filling it with a ton of lettuce, what they call in the business “perceived value”. Now, I’m not against a business earning a profit, but this was not “earning” this was just THEFT. Not to mention, the little meat there was tasted like bits of week old griddle grease char. My girlfriend said her chicken wrap was flavorful, but also had very little meat. Neither was in actual pita, but a tortilla instad. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but you deserve to know the truth. Save your money, very little value here. It cost as much to go for sushi, Asian food or even a nice steak! Maybe the buffet was worth it, but I will never find out, trust is gone, worst Mediterranean food I’ve ever had. I will never go back!
staff is excellent and attentive, food is beautiful and has delicious flavors & great texture
[if youre considering the fried cauliflower with garlic sauce- just get it. seasoning/light batter is divine, dip is luxurious; didnt get a pic bc i basically inhaled it]
and very fair pricing for these two full boxes, plus i was able to order that accommodated my vegetarianism and more importantly my [sometimes quite troublesome re:restaurants] rare allergy issues.
the ambience is unbeatable, the food was fast and generously portioned, and i cannot wait to come back to try the buffet. its rare that a buffet joint can get this vegetarian to shell out but i’m figuring out how soon i will get to go back! considering getting yet another job, solely to have a dedicated budget stream solely for sawa
The highlight? They prepare the Lamb Biryani and Kebabs fresh when you order, ensuring you enjoy piping hot, delicious food. The desserts, especially the baklava, were divine!
The cozy ambiance and quality halal offerings made for a memorable meal. Plus, the owner treated us to a nostalgic Sudanese herbal tea that wrapped up our day perfectly.
Highly recommend this spot—worth every penny for quality and quantity! Don’t miss it!
Not a lot choices to eat.
Parking is only one hour.
It’s pricey for what they offer.
I do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your time.
The attendant was not professional. He was even sleeping in the dining area.
The place was empty… that in itself should have been enough to not give it a try. Skip it… go somewhere else.
Highly recommended!
Atmospheres fantastic decoration is so great for eyes, I adore the green and the place is decorated with real plants. Overall I give 10/10 and I recommend it for anyone.
The staff was very welcoming and attentive, making the atmosphere warm and comfortable. I especially loved the balance of traditional recipes with modern presentation. This is definitely one of the best spots in Denver if you’re craving Mediterranean cuisine. Highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious food and a friendly environment!
