The first thing I look for in a quality restaurant is cleanliness. I will immediately exit a restaurant that serves food in unsanitary conditions. This restaurant, however, was very clean and tidy. I felt comfortable. All tables were clean, as well as the rest of the restaurant.
The food was excellent. The only minor thing was the steak I had ordered was medium, I ordered well done. It was a minor issue, as it wasn’t pink enough to be medium-rare. The eggs were excellent, as well as the hash browns.
It is a rather small “mom and pop” restaurant. It gives a small town, cozy feeling. I’m sure the restaurant has it’s regulars from the surrounding communities.
Overall, it is a friendly place to eat and get together with others.

I went here over the Fourth of July weekend and the food was so delicious!
I used to go here when it was Kunkles Korner years and years ago. The food still lets me feel nostalgic even though the owners have changed, it truly made me feel like I was at home!

Went here with a friend that is from the area. Got breakfast. Everything came up fast and fresh. Waiting was very nice. I had the biscuits and gravy and it was very good. Cool place. Neat decor! Sorry, I forgot to take pics of the meal. It came up fast and I was hungry.

Winter hours vary see photo. Very nice waitress. Has that old west rustic feel but very clean. Ice water good . Coffee not too strong not weak I enjoyed it by itself . Only $1.99 not bad usually the drinks gauge you. Friendly folks . Hints of the innocence of yester years and here are some photos and menu. They have morning special for only $5. A must see and enjoy a little slice of heaven. Will definitely be returning for their perch fry n Friday night! Yummy

Came in with a group not knowing they closed in half an hour realized right after walking in and had one older lady waitress maybe (hopefully not) constantly talking how they close in 15 minutes when it was 30 minutes and repeatedly saying it even after the group moved by the door looking for someone where else to eat instead of standing in the cold figuring it out. Very rude and for this to be the only real breakfast place around is sad and having rude servers doesn’t help this place get business.

Absolutely unbelievable how rude one of the waitresses here was. We walked in with our family on a Sunday at 12:25. We saw on the door they close at 1 so we didn’t even try to sit down because we knew we wouldn’t have enough time. This waitress walks out of the kitchen and yells at us saying, “We close in 15 minutes!!” We told her we know and that we were just discussing where else to go without walking back into the below 0 temps. She proceeds to talk about us loudly to the other services yelling about how dare we try to come in right before closing. We didn’t even try to sit down! She kept repeating it like she couldn’t believe we did that. I am so appalled by this. How sad that one of the only sit down breakfast places in Kewaunee could have service like this.

Really enjoyed my meal at Kunkel’s Korner Restaurant yesterday! The place is in an old downtown building with a neat, rustic atmosphere. Food was ready in 5 minutes, tasted delicious! Not expensive, either, and my waiter was very nice. Five stars all the way!

We stopped here for lunch recently while passing through. The staff is extremely friendly. The restaurant is especially clean. We had a couple of salads. The service was very fast and our salads were made to order. The prices were reasonable, too!
