Savoy is truly one of the best dining experiences in Albuquerque. The atmosphere is warm and elegant, the service is attentive without being intrusive, and the food is exceptional. Every dish is beautifully presented and full of flavor. The wine selection is outstanding as well. Highly recommended for a special evening, celebrations, or simply a great dinner. I will definitely return!”Nina excellent customer service.

My wife and I came here for our 8th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was nice and upscale in my opinion. After we were seated, we were greeted by our waitress Heather. She was very kind and friendly and made some recommendations for us. I’m not much of a sea food person, but she recommended the special which was a striped bass. She said it was delicious and it really was! My wife at the time of this review is pregnant so she got a prime rib and it had to be well done. She loves prime rib and even though it was cooked well done, she said it was the best prime rib she’s ever had. I told my wife to save room for dessert and we ordered two desserts. We got the creme brulee and chocolate caramel cheesecake. Both were delicious and we were very satisfied. The food and service were excellent and we had a great time there. We highly recommend eating here.

We came here on Father’s Day evening, so it was probably a pretty busy night. The servers were clearly spread rather thin. It may have been a bit of an off night, because parts of our experience were good, but other parts not so much.
We’ll start with the good. The Savoy is an upscale restaurant and definitely looks the part. It’s a beautiful space, though the side room we were sat in isn’t quite as pretty as the main dining room. The prices are also very upscale, though I wouldn’t say the service matches the level I would expect for what our final bill was.
The servers are very nice, and were attentive when they were available. But again, perhaps because of Father’s Day, they were spread thin and there were times when we couldn’t find one. But the person who took our order was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu.
Some of the food we got was great. My wife got the salad with steak, and one of my sons got the lamb shank, and they both loved their meals. My other son got the tuna, and while he loved the meat and seaweed salad, the wasabi mashed potatoes missed the mark. We all found that spicy taste in the mashed potatoes off putting.
I got the prime rib, and while my mashed potatoes were delicious, the crust of the meat was inedibly salty. Like pure salt. I’m not sure what happened, like if it was supposed to be rubbed off or what, but I couldn’t eat the outer centimeter of the meat. And if any of the edge touched something else that also became unbelievably salty. In the middle of the meat it was tender and juicy, and I didn’t have any complaints, but that first bite of the crust which should have been delicious really threw off my pallet for the rest of the meal. The crusty edge bits are usually some of my favorite.
The table got the bok choy and the collard greens to share. I enjoyed the collard greens, and the table liked the mushrooms that came with the bok choy, but the bok choy itself was pretty plain. My wife and I both ordered wine and those were great.
The lamb shank took much longer than the other food to come out, maybe 10 minutes, which was a little bit frustrating. It made me wonder if they accidentally took his to another table and had to wait for another one to come out.
I’ve come in the past, ordering and loving the osso buco. Though I don’t remember too much more than the picture I took.
Our final bill came to over $250 for the four of us after tip and tax which feels quite high for a mixed experience with the food. Overall, the atmosphere is very nice, as are the servers, but the food missed the mark this time. I’d give it another shot, but it’s quite expensive so I might be more inclined to try another spot.

Their cocktails are named after song titles. Get the Wishful Thinking and Fly With Me, both tequila based. I’d prefer these over a margarita any day! Savoy has excellent service and cuisine

We love this place for a romantic dinner. Always excellent service, and the food arrives stove hot. On the high end for ABQ, but still a good value. We shared the oak fired goat cheese as an appetizer and it was very good. My wife had the filet mignon and the bite she shared with the sauce was devine. I had the salmon. It was cooked to perfection, I just wasn’t a big fan of what it was plated on. For dessert we had the seasonal pumpkin bar and the chocolate torte. The torte was too rich but the pumpkin had a perfect balance of spice and pumpkin. The bar at happy hour for dinner is highly recommended.

Absolutely the best happy hour in town. Great wines, excellent service and wonderful food. The views from the patio really are relaxing. My favorite Belle Glos, you can get a bottle at happy hour price!

Wonderful restaurant with a unique specialty cocktail list and delicious menu. Upscale but comfortable vibe and service was great! The tiramisu in particular was such a great way to end an already delicious meal (calamari & the seasonal house ravioli). The hint of ginger was such a wonderful addition and variation on the normal!

I was here for a work trip and didn’t have much time to fully experience the full menu of this restaurant. However, I ordered the oysters from VA and they were amazing, prepared properly with no crunchy shell that I was able to find. My bartenders were very attentive and asked me questions about what I might enjoy to eat, even though I was mainly there to have a few drinks, they sold me on the oysters. After having the Savoy 75, which I highly recommend, I asked for a recommendation on a non typical Gin. The bartender brought over a bottle of Spanish Gin, which I had never tried, and it was phenomenal. He took the time to explain the flavor profile and even handed over the bottle so I could read more of the description. Jake was my bartender and I highly recommend this place to anyone living here or visiting. I will be returning very soon.
